this deck is supposed to do 100 damage fast and consistently with moltres and recycle its ability with night maintenance and super scoop up
the other cards are mainly for set up for instance the pachirisu is for getting out lunatone and solrock along with phione and cyndaquil and the call energies are for the same
the pachirisu is also for cessation crystal

Nice, Nice. I dunno if you need the 1 Solrock, unless you are strictly using it to draw a card for the Lunatone. This is a pretty good looking deck, i may have to change it sometime. This deck just screams to me that it needs at least a 1-1-1 Leafeon Line, but that's probably because i play it in my Moltres deck =P

been there, done that...

and recycle its ability with night maintenance and super scoop up

Chance of Flame Charge = 50%. If you have a Moltres and super scoop up in your hand instead, that changes to 62.5%. very marginal to justify another card. Good for other things, but to recycle its power? Big no. Night maintenance? The problem is in bench space if you want Typhlosion and Lunatone and Solrock too, you can't even get all 4 down at once, so no use recycling it first, solve the benchspace problem first. That's if they KO your pachi and phione too.

I think Pachi and call energy are overkill as neither are hugely effective with Moltres considering you cannot make use of flame charge. With TV Reporter and Lunatone as your only discarders, it is inconsistent to both get benefit from the discard and have free bench space. Both are necessary to keep Moltres running, you also need draw to have enough energies to discard. I like mentor because it's really a kill two birds with one stone thing. You can solve the pachi benchspace problem and the discard problem. In terms of energy, I think castform is important with mentor, bu multi is not. A lot of time your Moltres will be left without energies after scorching wing, unless a call energy is attached. This is very dangerous as speaking from experience, Empoleon can just eat your bench away and setup a scramble opportunity. it's basically an autoloss and magmortar can probably do the same thing if Moltres is stuck there unable to retreat. Perhaps check my Redshift deck for some more ideas?
