Strategy: Well, try for a fast Kabutops. Stop Trainers like Candy, Warp Point, TSD, NM, etc. Can be very annoying, especially in mirror match (lol, no fossils can be played by them). Spread with Tops/Aero/Zapdos too, then play Star for Devolving them, hopefully getting a KO. Then Wager all those Evolutions back into their hand, and stop them from Candying back with Tops. Aero either makes them A) take damage when they use their Powers, or B) Make them hesitant to use their Powers, which is the goal. If you can lock dow their Trainers, Powers, and Evolutions, plus spread, the game's won IMO. It's tough for them to set up, they can't have any extra tricks up their sleeves like Magmortar's Torrid Wave or another Omastar's Primal Swirl. Sure, they can actually still use Powers, but they'll take damage, which is also good, obviously. 2 Telepasses from Gardy = 70 HP. Which is in the KO range of Kabutops. Using Teleportation actually hurts them, and might make them think twice about actually Teleportationing or Retreating. Tops keeps a constant flow of damage to the Bench, making it not safe for them to hide on the Bench until they have back up, sacking Starters like Pachi or Phione or Sentret. Zapdos is to damage the Bench in the first place, so Tops can spread. It also allows some surprises, like play it, make that 40 damage from Aero on Gardevoir 50, Candy Mysterious Fossil to Omastar, Devolve the Gardy, KO on the Ralts. Fun. Holon Fossil is very nice here, obviously, it makes Aero a Basic and Kabutops and Omastar Stage 1s, which is great. So, this is my version of Fossils... I'm using it at Brs, so comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
