empoleon vs Plox

In many of the battle roads gg or plox has beat an empoleon or other decks. In my opinion empoleon has a herd time beating gg and plox.
So what could an empoleon player do to increase their chances aginst gg and plox.
All I know of that if you put unown g under empoleon they can't use sonic blade.

empolen can win if the player is smart and can pull off a quick KO on the dusknor witch is the only real threat to empolen (it a 50/50 shot it all depends on who sets up faster )

Alright, yes, he bought a deck list. Okay, we get the point. It's getting really old for me, and I'm not even the one being spoken about.

Anyway, yeah, I agree with DarthPika, an Empoleon isn't going to beat a good Plox but 2 or 3 times out of 10.
 
ya i totalyl agree i use to run a emp deck n it was alright but i swtitch to GG n i toally wompon everyone that has an emp emp is too slow and can knock out a good GG nor a PLOX sorry man

Anyways, Empoleon beats Plox. Simple as that.
Especially if they use the Omastar SS tech, that makes it so easy to escape from Plox that they might as well just use gallade.
Empoleon > Plox.
Back in Black > Empoleon.
 
Psychic Lock is a pain, but Empoleon isn't as vulnerable to it as a lot of decks.

It doesn't counter the spread, which is Empoleon's main weapon. It takes three Psychic Locks to KO without PlusPower/Strength Charm by which time it can spread 180 damage.
 
You could run Empoleon just with Phione, Call Energy, and 4 Cess Crystals.

You can still include a 2-2 Claydol line so that you had the option of using it to set up if needed. You just have to be smart about when to use Cess.

Agree & you can use Scizor MD as a tech against PLOX...
