Drop pyramid in higher-level play. If that Venusaur is prized, what are you gonna do? You don't have another one. I would almost say to play 3-2-3 or 3-1-2 and run 3 Rare Candies.

thats very true, im prob gonna run 3-2-3 because id prefer 2 ivysaur in my deck and it only eats up two slots in my deck. thnx 4 the help :)

i still need to know of any other problems in this deck, im trying my hardest to perfect it.

Here you go broski i know it might be hard to get all these, especially since DP5 isn't out yet but trust me this oculd be deadly

the ideal bench is 1-2 Venusaur, 2-3 Weezing, 1 Claydol

ideal active is Cradily

Here's the spoilers for lileep and cradily

good luck getting the cards i might help you out once i get my deck done... 11 more cards : - )

I play tested you deck and found it really fun. I'll list some of the changes I made that I think really improved it.
First I felt there were too many Pokémon and something had to go. I chose the Bats because they really are just a tech to get poison from the bench, but there is way to much involved to make it worth it, and as a general rule I try to limit my decks to only 1 triple stage series.
That gave me room to flesh out the remaining lines. I went 4-4 on the Weezing since that pokebody is cumulative. Just image Toxicroak active with 4 Weezing's on the bench. :thumb: I went with the MD Crogunk since the main goal is to get poison on the opponent ASAP. They both make you flip for poison but MD only needs 1 Psy energy. Both work but I lean towards the speed personally.

4x Bulbasaur SW
2x Ivysaur SW
3x Venusaur CG

3x Crogunk MD
3x Toxicroak MT

4x Koffing GE
4x Weezing GE

Now Trainers are always a mix or personal opinion and availability of cards. So I am running from my personal card pool. First thing I have to mention that Wally's is not modified legal and Rare Candy is far superior.

3x Bebe's Search
3x Professor Oak's Visit
3x Roseanne's Research

1x Moonlight Stadium

4x Rare Candy

3x Call Energy
1x Multi Energy
8x Grass
11x Psy

This set up did well against a test G&G I had but had real trouble with Empoleon mostly because of Dawn Stadium. If poison don’t stick your up the creek. I assume it would get worked my decks with free retreater as well.
Anyway still a super fun deck and with it clicks it is amazing.

Im9today you forgot to include the Root Fossil for Lileep and Cradily line, they are a fossil series. I also wonder why you suggest them in a poison deck.

You did give me a great idea though. Since the Venusaur CG will be rotated out for next season there is a great replacement in Temple of Anger.

Swalot LV.35 – Psychic – HP90
Stage 1 – Evolves from Gulpin

[P][C] Swallow Up: 30 damage. If the Defending Pokemon's Remaining HP is less than Swalot's remaining HP, this attack's base damage is 80 instead of 30.
[P][P][C] Garbage Chute: 60 damage. The Defending Pokemon is now Poisoned.
Weakness: Psychic (+20)
Resistance: none
Retreat: 2

I would completely dump the Venusaur line and the Grass energy for the Swalot. Nice big hitter with poison and only a stage 1 so it is way easier to get out then Venusaur.

well, it's mainly because i know Smeargle personally and today when i played against his deck and observed some others he did against some of out other pals, his main problem what that he could not keep poison on because of retreats.

The Cradily was there for it's ability to stop retreating.

But I like your idea much better since a Warp Point could fix that problem very quickly and since they would take poison damage anyway from the turn transition after the pokemon was poisoned. Venusaur was supposed to poison form the bench while Cradily help the pokemon in place.

Swalot helps this deck A LOT though. Good eye. : - )
