Togekiss at Worlds?

With a fairly defined metagame heading into Worlds, do you think Togekiss-based decks may see some success? Togekiss itself is pretty awesome against Gallade, and big HP against Empo means they need 4 Dual Splash to kill it. Nobody's playing BF, and Cess usage didn't seem all that prevalent. It can easily be pretty fast too, needing not too much to set up and fairly easy to recycle.

The big problem with it is that most of the things normally partnered with it are just wrong for this meta. Anything not Ho-oh is unsafe to put loads of energy on because of how easy they are to KO. Ho-oh isn't so hot because Empo doesn't even need a bench to Surf it to death.

So what's the verdict? Playable, or shove it in the binder?

I would stand well clear of it to be honest, it may be able to take a hit or two as you say but even those cases are very limited and its not really doing much in the mean time. And of course revolving your deck around power based energy acceleration will make you Gardevoir susceptible. I think the important play for Worlds is make sure you're packing Scramble Bronzong and an answer for Crystal Beach.

Well from playing TogeChomp I've found it to be almost dead weight after using it. Sometimes I attack with it, but it usally just sits on the bench after I use it. Though its still great nrg excel. And its pretty luck based at times. Also looses effectiveness later in the game. And what the post above me says.

uhhh mostly shove it back but look at it this way, a bunch of japanese people will invade saying GOINICHIWA ATIGATO I WIN HAHAHAHA turn 1 and ur like wth??? hes like thank you come again. togekiss is 30-70 or lets say somewhere between30-70---40-60. people plox u. people cess u. people glace u. power useless.GG has no prob killing 1 toge kiss but the second i mean if ur using togekiss most likely ur using someting with it so when u attack with togekiss it means ur either in bad shape with nothing or just think togekiss ftw.ul see some togekiss out there that make it to worlds, y u wanna play it? be prepared so play windstorm. it doesnt suk but a bunch can kill it just like that. when its facing something big by the second turn it will die. unless u heal and u kill something, just try it and think of all the matchups. good luck. some stuff might be dumb and might make no sense. im tired...
EDIT:4 people posted at the same time in 2 minutes-_-. im the last one-_-...

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Possible pairs:

Crawdaunt ex
Electvire SW
Exegutor MT

Basicly, anything that benifits from stacking.

elcetrivire, soon it becomes junk once uve used a togekiss and discharged. crawdaunt ex, well its an ex so 110 hp and double prize is something, exexutor to quick dieing and a huge energy waste. crawdautn is like magmorter.

Garchomp works perfect with Togekiss, and in some cases better than Ho-Oh. Better than Ho-Oh. It can do 110 for 3 energy and has a solid 130 HP. Plus play it with the level X, spread damage to the bench and bring back a couple of dead Chomps or something better (Flygon EX) that you discarded works just as well.

Lets not forget about Crawdaunt EX, as it's still legal. Perfect combo with Togekiss.

crauwdaunt exactly like magmorter. diff stuff, ex so take 2 prizes. mag has a lvl.x. mag can heal. crab can mess up bench. they both work fine but garch is harder to setup.

Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock,Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock,Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock,Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock, Psychic Lock,Psychic Lock = GG. No, it won't see play but if someone does play it it won't get to top spots. And there are better energy accelerators like Leafeon LV.X.

The thing about Togekiss is the surprise factor. One turn is all it takes. If they don't use Psychic lock for one turn, Togekiss can power up just about anything. It also thins the deck by 2-5 cards.
I think it will see some play, but only in outlandish rogues which people have dismissed for their vulnerability to Psychic Lock.

uhhh even in skittles/garchomp decks with togekiss the enegy power thing can really fail wasteing bench space, card space search space(assuming u might have ccf for a togepi or celios for a togekiss or using a candy.)
