Dusknoir LV.X – Psychic – HP140
Level Up

Poke-Power: Ectoplasm
This Power can be used once, when this Pokemon is your Active Pokemon and its HP is reduced to 0 by an opponent’s attack. Although this Pokemon is Knocked Out, this 1 card is not discarded, but is put into play as a Stadium card (any other Stadium in play is discarded).

If this card is in play as a Stadium card, it has the following effect: “In between turns place 1 damage counter on each of your opponent’s Pokemon,” and when it would be discarded this card is returned to your hand instead.

Weakness: Darkness (x2)
Resistance: Colorless (-20)
Retreat: 3

Ok first of all, no prize card for knocking it out, then it turns into a stadium and does 10 damage to all of your opponents Pokemon in play. Then to top it off it CANT be discarded. But I still wouldn't play this card because the Lv.x is too focused on "stadium" rather than Pokemon. But I like the normal Dusknoir. Who's with me????

This card is awesome. however it dose say it is still knocked out meaning your opponent takes a prize, and it can leave play if it is koed by Giratina

ps I will be plating it not only is the current one great, with the new one coming with the lv x it will be great

oh man i gotta stop posting without reading the card carefully sorry about that guys anyway the stadium thing is still pretty cool

Yeah, opp. still gets to take a prize. Just like if Ho-Oh's power flips heads.
Notice too, that if it's killed on the bench, or by burn/poison, it's discarded.

Would this be the first stadium that only affects one player?

I want to pair this with Bronzong. After Dusnknoir Lv.X is KOed and you begin the Pain Amplifier, you are doing a grand total of 50 to every pokemon on your opponent's board that has a power by the time it is your turn again. I actually just thought of that right now as I was reading this, and I can't believe I didn't think of it sooner!

And then take into account how broken DP1 Dusknoir is, and you've got one nasty deck.

The main issue that this deck will have is the 3 energy cost for each dusknoir attack. It'll be good, but youll need to make sure you have a way to power things up.

Considering Dusknoir can heal him self by removing 20 each turn and then moving it to one of your bench, i'm not to worried about Alakazam.

Depending on its popularity this will probably be the start of counter-stadiums coming back into the competitive play area, something we haven't seen in full effect since the Desert Ruins/Battle Frontier era.

Not the attack you should be worried about, just let kazam sit on the bench and when you try Ectoplasm I just discard 2 cards from my hand and you can't use Ectoplasm.

No Dusknoir heals it self and puts 2 damage counters on Alakazam. Early spreading will be deadly to it
