2 Weeks Before Nationals:
Introduced to playing over MSN, really easy but no conference calls, so introduced to Skype, massive play testing from here on out. And Rock Band of course.
1 Week Before Nationals:
Okay, set on Empoleon, now fixing my list US Nats just passed, and Empozong was pretty popular and doing well, so I fit a 1-1 into the deck along with a Holon’s Castform (OMG SAVED ME 1000 GAMES). More play testing, rock band is ignored.
Day Before:
Okay list set, testing has been going well, able to score multiple KOs in one turn (4 3 KO’s and 2 4 KO’s), so yeah Empoleon/Omastar/Bronzong it is.
Night Before: Impossible to sleep, excitement or something, only get 4 and a half hour. >_>. So I really can’t remember everything 100%.
Day of:
Over-estimated traffic and got there WAY TOO EARLY (7:30 and the room wasn’t even open). So then we got ready, waited etc. etc. and the doors open, then we have to do Deck Checks, even though the judge miscounted my trainers, everything else went fine and that was corrected. Lucario-Master runs Torterra/Sceptile (Netdeck), and blitz101 runs Tyapemortar Lv.X (don’t ask).
Round 1: VS Electivire and Garchomp
Okay I’m scared, R1 electric, this was hard to remember up until the point where he was up 4-1 in prizes with 10 minutes left, I make a HUGE comeback attacking and de-evolving with Omastar. Then it’s 1-1 times is called, last turn I Warp Point to push up Bronzor and evolve now he has a Minun SW with 2 Counters on it on the bench, Pain Amplifier, Cursed Alloy, he has 6 Energies on Electivire LV.X (SW) he needs 2 heads, he gets 1 Heads FTL. Cursed Alloy, Pain Amplifier, GG, GG.

Round 2: VS Gardevoir Gallade (Unsure whether PLOX or GG)
He gets T4: Claydol, 2 Gallade, 2 Gardevoir and Dusknoir…Scoop.

3 Benched EXs plus massive spreading=Game.

Round 4: VS Glaceon Lv.X/Lucario
This guy said he was second in senior’s Canadian ranking. Okay so? I make a misplay on calling out attacks, I want to Dual Splash but I call Surf Together but…T3 Empoleon+Full Bench. GG. (Sleep Kicking in)

Okay I’ve never top cut, ever. So I’m nervous going into this round, really nervous. Making so many misplays. I felt like I was going to faint (Nervous kicking in).
Round 5: VS Glaceon Lv.X/Empoleon
See round 4. Same thing, no Empoleon for her though.
Seeded 4th, I won’t get into top cut has it was an abomination, both games I prized 3 Empoleons. So yeah.
When I’m called up for prizes, I get my 18 packs and Steve announces that I am the lucky winner. I shake my head and say “What?” he explains that I get the invite that Paul A. was to receive because he has a Paid Trip from World 07. At first they hand me the whole envelope which we had a good laugh about (Because that includes Scholarship). But yeah I have a surprise invite, which my parents are going to discuss so, I MAY BE GOING TO WORLDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
