Hi, I made this deck when I met Weezing's Poké-BODY. Here is the list:

22 Pokémon

4 Koffing GE
3 Weezing GE
4 Ekans GE
3 Arbok GE
2 Baltoy GE
2 Claydol GE
2 Grimer SW
2 Muk SW

26 Trainers

4 Double Full Heal DP
4 Bebe's Search MT
2 Roseanne's Research SW
2 Night Maintenance SW
2 Moonlight Stadium GE
2 Energy Switch DP
2 Switch SW
4 Professor Oak's Visit SW
2 Dusk Ball
2 (Free slots)

12 Energy's

12 :psychic: Psychic Energy

Strategy: Attacks

There are a lot of tech cards in this deck. The main hitter is Arbok with it's Deadly Poison attack. (That's why I called this deck Deadly Poison.)

Arbok's Deadly Poison:
:psychic: 10+ damage. If the Defending Pokémon is Poisoned, this attack does 10 damage plus 40 more damage. If the Defending Pokémon is not Poisoned, that Pokémon is now Poisoned.

In case of emergency I can use Muk's Panic Liquid attack, Arbok's second attack Wrap and Weezing's Offensive Gas. I've seen Poké-BODY's that ignored Special Conditions so I also need other attacks than Arbok's Deadly Poison.

Muk's Panic Liquid:
:psychic::psychic::colorless 50 damage. The Defending Pokémon is now Confused and can't retreat during your opponent's next turn.

Arbok's Wrap:
:colorless:colorless:colorless 50 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Paralyzed.

Weezing's Offensive Gas:
:psychic::colorless 30 damage. Flip a coin. If heads, the Defending Pokémon is now Confused and Poisoned.

Strategy: Poké-POWERS/BODIES

The effect of Poison gets stronger because of Weezing's Poké-BODY. That's where this deck is all about. With Muk on the bench, any active Pokémon with Grass Energy's or Multi Energy's will become Poisoned. Of course Claydol is in this deck to refresh your hand.

Weezing's :pbody: Toxic Virus:
At any time between turns, each player puts 1 more damage counter on his or her Poisoned Pokémon.

Muk's :pbody: Toxic Sludge:
At the end of each player's turn, each of your opponent's Active Pokémon that has any Grass Energy attached to it is now Poisoned. If that Pokémon is already Poisoned, Toxic Sludge Poké-Body does nothing to that Pokémon.

Claydol's :ppowr: Cosmic Power:
Once during your turn (before your attack), you may choose up to 2 cards from your hand and put them on the bottom of your deck in any order. If you do, draw cards until you have 6 cards in your hand. This power can't be used if Claydol is affected by a Special Condition.

Strategy: Trainers

I added 2 Moonlight Stadium to ignore the high retreat costs of all Psychich Pokémon. It's kind of funny but all of them (Koffing, Weezing, Ekans, Arbok, Grimer and Muk) have a retreat cost of 2.

In the worst case my own Pokémon can get Poisoned. Because Weezing's Poké-BODY also works for my own Pokémon, I added 4 Double Full Heals and 2 Switch. I didn't add any Warp Points because Special Conditions go away when my opponent's Pokémon switch.

4 Bebe's Search help to find the needed evolution cards, when 2 Roseanne's Research help me to get basic Pokémon or Energy's.

I also added 2 Energy Switch. This because they could be helpful since I don't have much Energy's in the deck anyway. So I thought of a tactical, free retreat (Moonlight Stadium) and then an Energy Switch to send a new Arbok to the battlefield for example. Or for other tactical reasons, use them if Muk needs some Energy.

To get new cards very fast and recycle unneeded cards, I added 4 Professor Oak's Visit. I didn't add any Felicity's Drawing since I don't really have cards that I may want to discard.

Then there are 2 Night Maintenance to recycle lost Arboks maybe sniped Weezings or Claydols. Or Energy's of course.

Results

I've tested it 2 times vs some random kids with awful decks, so I won 2 times ... You will have to wait for an update!

You have listed 2 Free Slots within your list, so use those to either add 1 Arbok and 1 Weezing, or take out 1 Ekans and 1 Koffing. I dunno what to add, the list does look pretty solid, perhaps you should contemplate adding some cards from the Japanese DP5 set (which will be our LA) to make the deck a bit more solid

You do realize that it can and will work against you if your Pokemon get Poisoned and chances are, you won't always be getting Double Full Heal. Since you have 2 empty spaces, you might want to add 2 Recover/Heal energy.
(I don't remember which 1 it is.)

Plus, you can always use the extra energy.

Thanks for the advice afstandopleren. What's with the nickname anyway?! I am dutch too so I should know what it means but I don't :D!

(Do you have a Recover Energy left? Maybe I can try it. I already have one.)

I think I have some recover energy left  I'll take it to the league.

Well, the thing with my username is that it's utter gibberish...Even in Dutch
For the English people reading this, the blunt translation of my username is; distance on learning.

As much as how it's written out of 3 words put together, it's supposed to not make sense.

You don't need double full heal. The chances that you will fight another poison deck are very slim, and if you do, just warp point/switch and then retreat back. Simple.

Uhhm, there are other Special Condiotions like Burned and Paralyzed....
So keep the Double Full Heal.
But still, The Supes has a point. Switch works the same as Double Full Heal and it can do even more. I mean, Burn and Paralyze do go away when you use Switch. Thanks for the advice, maybe I'll try it.

Anyway, what do Mewtwo and Mewtwo LV.X do? (Both from LA by the way?) I can't find a proper translation anywhere, and pokebeach.com seems to be down again...

Another question: what are "pixies"?

Not entirely right. Mewto can already be found in MD. Mewto LV.X however, comes in a Tin whith the next set.

What Mewto LV.X basically has, is 'Basic Protection'. It's completely immune to attack from Basic Pokemon.

Pixies is the name for decks that are based around Azelf, Mesprit and Uxie. Also often referred as AMU.
People are currently speculating about the LV.X versions from these Pokemon since 1 of the LV.X's can do 200 damage without too heavy draw backs .

Lookes like a solid deck(I may even try it out, hahaha) .My only concern is if you run into a new fossil deck that runs Aerodactyl. He can cause you some pain. Not sure what you can counter him with though

Why do you have 4 double full heal? The only time you'd get poisoned is if the opponent plays poison cards, which aren't common at all.

You only run psychic energy, and none of the attacks you listed poison the user, so why are you so afraid of poison?

......Only Claydol fears Aerodactyl since Aerodactyl targets Poke-Powers.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

Is it just me, or is it just that it's more lethal to become Poisened yourself that everyone seems to forget about other Special Conditions?

Besides, those Switches/Warp Points will be gone at some point and can be used for better situations.
