Food/Drinks/Spending Money/Sunday Sealed Side event if they have one - $200

If you plan on doing a theme park like Disney/Universal/Islands- Add $150 for tickets and overpriced items in disney

Good Guess on the 350 :thumb:

Anthoy, You do aware that I am an Australian and stay from the 12th to 18th? So yeah 350USD should work for me... since I am really tight on money and I cant afford to do theme park stuff...

Very.

Bring at least Rm2000 (about $600) to spend if you want to go to the theme park and buy stuff. The food there is also very expensive.

Bring more money if you're paying for your own accomodation

Rm2000? o_O That's a third of air tickets. =/

At least I won't have to worry about my accomodation. =]

er........ i don't think you need like $600, tickets would cost around $75 per park, so it depends on which one you want to go universal or disney, and you aren't going to buy the whole shop, prolly just a shirt or cap and stuff... so you prolly need like $100 per place just for memories

as to food, seeing the potion is extremely big to us asians plus you won't really care cause you would be too busy playing i figure around $25 per day would make you extremely fullthat would come up to $175 per week

aside from that you might want to buy some cards and do some shopping.... now for that you really need to budget yourself....for me i am splurging in the mall...... muahahahaha

im bringing about 300-400$ for food and pokemon stuff. I think im gonna buy bunch of stuff:p also about 300 more for gas and hotel. Im going with friends so i pay my share which is 300$.

hm... some good suggestions out there...

ill definately going for $350USD.

Many thanks!!!

For American Players $350 sounds about right I would also strongly suggest bring/getting a Credit Card. You never know what might come up. (I don't mean I want to shop at Disney Land) I mean my flight got cancelled and I have to find room. I know they get alot of bad raps but if you use them responibly they really are an asset.

One thing nobody has mentioned but cab fair alone will run you $100

I don't know, more than likely yes, but I would defenitly look into cost (its not free) and times, I would guess every hour but I'm not sure.

i wont be taking cabs, theres the free magical express from the airport, right?

i called the hilton, and they said that the hilton hotel does NOT qualify for the "Disneys magical shuttle" service. it only works on the Disney World hotels, not hotels at disney world.

would it be possible to catch a magical express to nearest hotel from hilton and walk from there?

i believe that they said that you must have a reservation for one of the disney hotels to get the service.

http://www.orlandoairports.net/ops/bus_taxi.htm

this has alot of local busses, shuttles, and taxi info.

one of the better rates i found was here:
http://www.mearstransportation.com/
click reserve shuttle, and send in the info (Orlando international airport and hilton walt disney world)

its $32USD roound trip per person, witch is quite the deal for their service. much better than a taxi cab.
