Honchkrow LVX comboed with honchkrow and murkrow is a really devastating deck but what my questions is....Why does no one play it??

I agree, GG is ruling the tables. However, I DO use a honchkrow deck AND GG Deck, but I mainly play Honchkrow. It successfully carried me to a top 4 (out of 30 or so) in a battle roads Mater Divison this season...but I got crushed in the finals by GG. I also lost a tough match against Kabutops MD, (but won a MAGNIFICANT match against Garchomp LVX.)

I played it with claydol and Darkrai, and now have added togekiss....so it's gotten even better for me. But I understand why people don't play it, GG is better...but I think the dark decks will be more used in next year's format....though not as used as Grass with Leafon LVX and Sceptile GE. @_@ And GG won't be as powerfull in next year's format.

The way people remember playing it was with Absol and Team Galactic's Mars.

The release of Claydol killed both of those cards, and now people have avoided Honchkorw as well.

I rembember playing it with absol, TGM and TGW and it was probaly the funnest deck but it lost to mag because it could just take out the benched krow and get multiple kills with the bench damage but it was still fun. Also the popular way to play mag in my area was to play magsol so sometimes I couldn't even get set up. But the card was amazing becuase you could get rid of your opponents hand so fast and keep it small most of the game. The only problem is it doesn't do a lot of damage so really all it has is the hand disruption which claydol get rid of. Also gardy and emp and a lot of other decks just kills it.

Honchkrow has resistance to gallade by 20...... It would take 2-3 prizes flipped to OHKO honchkrow without the LVX....

I have no idea why no one plays it...It is faster than GG and PLOX

Gardy cant lock honchkrow's body...

Well, if the Honchkrow lv. X gets sniped, it'll be hard to recover, you'll probably be left with mostly Murkrows.

Plox has too many tricks up its sleeve.

They wouldn't Psychic Lock it, they would Sonic Blade and then Bring Down or Psychic Lock.

There are better deck choices, and Murkrow's low HP makes it ridiculously easy to kill. Take out their Honchkrow, and they pick out out your murks one by one while you are frantically trying to set up.

my brother won regionals with it. Even though he's a junior. he said he was playing against GG from the fifth round until the finals.

snowpoint isn't legal till next format, dugtrio leaves next format. It is so easy for a GG player to get around the deck and beat it

fine then add in tech bastiodon...The deck has numerous space for techs!!

so your going to add in an unneeded stage 2 (that's hard to get out) to make the deck beat Mag/Empo. Guess what even if it can't snipe the bench it still wins.

Honchkrow (DWD.dec) was the best deck for CC's before G&G got discovered. it won 3 of the 1st 4 cities in my area. It's problem, Murkrow needs 2-3 turns to knock out Garde LvX, psy lock OHKO's a krow. Of course claydol is the end of the deck, as the best part of the deck was eliminating someone elses hand to nothing.
