Pokerus-A few questions

Muscovy Level X

New Member
I've recently recieved Pokerus in my game (Pearl). I've read a bit about it from Serrebi.net, but I still have one main question: can Pokemon be inected more than once? After 4 or 5 days of infection, they lose the condition, and have a little smiley-face-thing when you go to summary. Can you re-get it from one of the other pokemon?

Oh, and can they lose it in the PC? I'm keeping backups there, as they haven't lost it there yet.

And a bit more about the training (this is more IV training, realy).
This is the best way I can think of to train, using Pokerus and Macho Brace.
Example: Supper Blissey
-Take a Blissey/Chancey/Happininy to some weak route, like the one outside Twinleaf Town.
-Use a GameShark (My friend has one, but I'm not a fan of hacking high stats, event Pokemon, ect. You just can't do anything with them.) to battle 7 each of Arceus, Creselia and Regirock (the code I have in mind will make them be the local level, so they will be Lv. 2 or 3, meaning that the Pokemon won't level up too soon).
-Level Up with a rare candy.

It's got to be too good to be true, since I could max out HP, Defence and Special Defence in about 47 levels. Am I getting something wrong?

The smiley face merely means the pokerus is no longer contagious; the effects remain. You don't need to infect twice.

The effects of Pokerus stays if the Pokemon is in the PC and won't go away. So give it to more then one Pokemon. Pokerus and Macho Brace double the evs gained. So if you would get 3 EVs, you get 3 more because of Pokerus and 6 more because of Macho Brace. 3+3+6=12. 2+2+4=8 or 1+1+2=4. Thats how I do it.

Yeah, I figured that out with greed pretty quick, and the gameshrk idea is to battle stuff with 3 points in the desired groups (for Blissey; HP, Defence, Special Defence), but it seems too easy. It could be possible to almost max out stats of you did that all around.

And so the actual infection is permanent, just not contageousness? Awsome...

or you can just multiply by 4...

Yes, you could use Macho brace, or you could just use the power items. +4 EVs to the descriibed stat. Now I have a question can that be combined with pokerus

1 EV + 4EV=5EV x 2(PKRS)=10EVs?

Yes, with pkrs and power item, 1 EV becomes 10. Pokerus is always taken into account last.

For Pokerus, I thought it was once the game had hit in-game 00:00, then you would get the smily and it WOULDN'T affect your EVs any longer. :|

Quote from Serebii:
It’s important to note that the Pokémon with the Pokérus will lose the Pokérus eventually, and a small dot (or a smily face) will appear in your Pokémon’s status screens. If you want to keep the Pokérus forever, make sure you put an infected Pokémon in your box.

It says quite plainly, 'lose the Pokerus', not 'lose the ability to spread Pokerus'. To play on the safe side, I suggest boxing it every night you're not going to use it until the stats are maxed out.

I'm not 100% sure on that, as I've only recently started paying attention to EV training with my team (though I've had the Rus since Ruby).
