Has everyone forgotten Garchomp/Lv.X? It's a perfect contender for next season. I feel people don't give it enough credit.
 
Wait till the hype on LA has died down a bit. Then people will see ChompKiss is still very viable...a bit unstable tho.
 
Probaly becuase there are a lot of better decks to play. There are faster, more consistent, funner decks that can deliver the same punch.

Kingdra may be fast, but its power is very limited.

AMU is not very easy to set up considering there's 3 Lv.Xs that need to be set-up.

Empoleon is fast, but Garchomp can tech against it. Can be hard to beat(but that's just because I only lose to the 10th in the country).

Spread is tough because of Omastar but Tech Cards are there for you.

Beedrill is easy to beat because it's just a OHKO.

Gliscor is easy because Warp Point and Free Retreat get rid of status problems and Gliscor is weak when it comes to attacks.
 
^ I'm sorry to say this, but Kingdra out speeds TogeChomp by so much that becomes almost impossible to come back. TogeChomp is the main deck I tested against with Kingdra. AMU is fast and a quick God Blast can really hurt Chomp as at times ,but you don't always have another thats ready to come up to replace so early on. THat can cause some problems as they start to pull away. IMO TogeChomp isn't right for DP-LA, but I think it has some hope in DP-IFDS.
 
Incredible card IMO, but stuff like Leafeon Lv.X, Torrterible, and Luxray just clean up with.
 
The main problem with Chomp is that 110 damage is just 10 short. Most of the Lvl2 Pokemon has 130 and relying on 2PP or PP+Buck is hard. And the beauty of 110 goes away then and the typical 70 can do the same 2HKO. Trust me, I tried and the problems of OHKO Garchomp was my main issue.

And AMU has the little no-weakness trick to foil Chomp so you have the same problem with the 90HP LvlX Pixies.
 
Why would people play it with kiss? Delcatty/rotom are both much faster then kiss and are far more consistant. It also leaves room for alot of techs (garchomp is such a powerful hitter, but gallade/dusknior/rayquaza are great guys also).
 
Most things that Blaziken 111 posted beat garchomp

Its too slow (three energies)

And if you want to play 2 stage 2 lines than the deck is way to inconsistant

so now you have a deck that is slow, inconsistant and loses to about 3-4 of the best decks next format

LOL at AMU being hard to set up. Please test the deck before making statements like that. ;)

Just the fact that AMU beats Chomp in just about every way I can think of makes me think that Chomp won't do so well next year. If you must know, its never been that great of a card, and I don't think it ever will be. It just doesn't have what it takes to push it over the top to be a "great" card, if you know what I mean.
 
Have u ever played AMU? All i hear is 3 lv X are hard to get, but youre wrong. It's fast!

200 everyturn is possible w 2 mes X and the other duos in play. It's just so damn annoying when they get that out. They also have free retreat and X weak.

All in all, it's just like GG but with more options
 
It's an OK deck, but still decent at best.
I don't see it as such a great deck, but it can be good given the right list, BUT it lacks consistency.
