Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Movie producers are jerks.

Didn't read it :X, but if they moved it back to make more money off of it, then they did the right thing lol. It doesn't make them jerks :p

Given the fact that they already said it was going to be out in November and that its now NEXT July, I think that does qualify them as jerks. It's not like the movie is late in production or anything, they just decided to move it to July to make more money. It's not like this movie isn't going to make a TON of cash anyway.... :/

More money is always better. Thats the end of it.
Money, money, money. That's all that matters.

BTW,
Money can buy happiness :)

It's a business... and they saw a way that would make more money... what do you expect... they want $$$$$$$

You don't see many others doing this with movies. Once they put out a release date they shouldn't just go and change it. It would be like a guy on ebay winning something, then someone else after the actuion has ended offering more, and the seller selling it to the new guy because he can make more money.

Or you could just read the book. Any one of the books, all of which have single sentences better than the entire movie series in its entirety.

Actually the 5th movie was MUCH better then the book. Really, the only bad movie(wasnt really that bad, just the worst of the set) was teh 4th one.

Well, the fifth movie wasn't that bad, the Voldemort vs. Dumbledore was amazing, if I remember correctly. But the fourth one just failed. They skipped many things in the maze, and the exploding whatchamacallits that Hagrid had, and the entire Quiddich Championships, and the Weasley's Wizard Wheezes, and the exploding fireplace...

The fifth movie was bad. They didn't have anything about Harry, Fred and George getting banned from Quidditch, and the whole Occlumency-thing was just confusing. We hadn't seen anything about it, and then just Poof!, and Harry gets no more lessons.

But I think it is stupid that they moved the release more than a half year. That's just sick.

I'm not surprised. This reminds me of brawl, personally. The addicted fans will be forced to wait, but they have to watch it (or buy it in the case of brawl). Nice move, WB. :p

The 5th movie was a terrible train wreck.
You said it. They changed too much from the book for my liking...

Well, DarthPika, they may be just want more money and that may make them come across as jerks, but look at it this way:

If they make more money on this movie, they will have that much more for the next one. And we all know bigger budgets make for better movies, no arguing that. So be happy, your getting a better 6th movie then you expected!

They wont make anymore money than they would if they brought it out in November. I was looking forward to the clash of vamps vs wizards....bummer:(

But I honestly seen this coming, afterall, they released that trailer REALLY late. in a business end it is a smart move I guess, I still think they wont make that much more. I do think WB has ruined Harry Potter, in fact, they have costed other various magazine companies so much money by this move, they should of done this before the Trailer!

What does it really come down to?
The movie wasnt ready, they may deny it all they like, it just wasnt ready, plus Twilight has their wands in a knot!

"WB confirmed that this change will not affect the shooting of the two films intended to end the series, for which shooting begins in February."
Okay, I didn't ever get around to reading the seventh book (it still collects dust in my closet), and please don't spoil it if this is just something I have to read the book for. Why would there be two more movies to film after this? The seventh is supposed to be the last one, right?

I Found The Official Reason Why They Postponed It, Because At The Time It Was Originally Scheduled To Release, Daniel Radecliff (harry In The Movies) Will Be Appearing In A Broadway Show Naked, So They Didnt Want To Have It Release While Hes Doing That, Bad Publicity I Guess

I heard about him doing that in a show with a nude scene in Europe several years ago. Is he doing the same show again?
