No its not..... its like saying Michael Jackson could beat Mike Tyson in a boxing match... certain things won't happen.... granted top 16 did have many skilled players i was being sarcastic and messing around.... but once Top 4 was anounced.... it was pretty obvious.... As long as jason plays this game competitively he'll be #1 imho..... everyone else is just playing for 2nd.

Still though, 3 world titles(2 official, 1 not worlds but ya know)
Best in the game, just seriously wish with a player and deck building skills as he has, he would come up with something interesting other than GG with some silly techs!

It happened! I saw it with mine own eyes!
Aziz (insert last name here) won seniors with Empostar as well, against Paul Atanassov's Blissey.
The finals match was not too great in masters, and jason had a relatively easy win, but the top 4 match between him and Gino was one of the most epic games I have ever seen, and ridiculously close.
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
Not true, everytime he flipped heads on something, just as many people applauded, if not more because they didn't want GG to win. It is just that he flipped a lot of tails, sad to say. I think that out of his 4 Energy Removal 2, he got just one heads. Jason simply had more luck, and therefore more oppurotunities to be cheered.
Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:
Jason's was no ordinary GG. His was interesting. he won his game against Gino because he had teched in a Jolteon* to do 10, and then LB'd Gino and Psychic Locked his Gallade FTW. It was a great play.

I'm actually kind of glad I wasn't at Worlds this year, because if I had gone I probably would have flipped out at people applauding over tails flips. What a bunch of nonsense.

What's so wrong about appluading at a tails flip? Jason is on Lafonte, and is an American, and us proud Americans want to root for the American to win Worlds- and who better than Jason, to solidify himself as the world's greatest player and the world's greatest player being an American. Applauding at a tails flip is akin to applauding at a good hand- it's just luck and it's applauding good luck. No different than when people cheer in poker when the cheering group got a nice card or turn of events. It's not insulting to anyone so why would anyone need to be banned for life? That's completely absurd. People applauded good luck coming to someone they wanted to win worlds... get over it.

no, as 'the country with the best player in the world' you should show a very large degree of humility, and not arrogence.
also, ive been in a situation like that in tkd tournements; people cheers your kicks to the head you get a buzz, but if your outnumbered by spectators and you boot someone in the face and crowd goes "oooooh" and dead silence its like "....what?"
im really peeved that GG won worlds, i absolutly hate that deck. no matter how 'unique' his deck was, it was still GG.
spose im quitye happy i just cruised through this season, if i got to worlds and just played against GG i would have gotten really annoyed.

Remember, guys, if the guy you're supporting has a stroke of luck against somebody from another country, just stand there and blankly stare at the void beyond. Do not applaud or cheer in any way, shape, or form. If you do, you're automatically assumed to be racist.

the big i was getting at was the er2 tails thing, cheering other people bad luck? do you know how demorelising that is? it affects the way you perform.

The midwest is even better now.
The cheering for Jason on the opponent's failed flips or RPSs, didn't bother me.
The actual booing for the opponent when he took a prize, however.
That was poor sportsmanship on the part of those booing.

I do know one thing, If I were at worlds and was somehow prohibited from watching the final match, Id be mad has HECK!
I mean come on, its worlds OF COURSE the people at worlds are going to want to watch.
Almost every other sport gets center stage too with spectators, so its not unreasonable. I think my solution would work best though
