Well seeing the commercials, I was sure this was going to be a kiddy, horrible movie. However being the hardcore Star Wars fan I am, I had to see it anyways. So I went today and I was suprised...(mainly when some dude got his head blown off and the word damn was tossed around a couple of times) but the movie was not that bad. Granted, it is insignifigant compared to the power of the live action movies (bad pun), but it was not horrible. The movie was definetly geared towards younger kids, but it resembled the clone wars cartoons shown on Cartoon Network a while back. I was suprised however that there were only 8 people or so in the theater since it was released only 3 days ago, but that was probably because it did look kiddy, and it was. The problem thought i actually had was that it was really repetitive, a bunch of people die, a lightsaber battle, then move on to the next planet again and do the same. It's not like the orginal star wars, where you actually cared who got blown up in their star fighter. Even if you only got 2 lines from them, you at least got to knwo the characters more. Also some of the attempts at humor seemed almost....desperate. None the less i did enjoy the movie.

Anyone else seen it?

Haven't seen it, and wasen't really planning on it. After seeing the commercials, and the alledged "humor", it just reminded me of most of the cartoons on CN nowadays. Glad to hear it wasen't total torture to watch and a disgrace to Star Wars, though. Nice that they put Shaak Ti or whatever her name is, since she was always an interesting character, especially in the mini series on CN.

It really is not that great. I saw it because it was star wars....that was pretty much the only reason. It was entertaining at SOME parts. But not many
