I've seen all of them play- all of them are amazing!!

Hiroki gets my vote. He is a machine and a pleasure to watch. And he is what, 7 years old???

That's scary.......

My vote would be for tristan not only cause I helped build the deck he won with but because of the courage to play such a red face paint deck given only days before the tournament. Not even curran won with a red face paint.. not to mention curran showed his arrogance by trash talking his top 16 opponent after their match saying how bad his deck was yet the kid had just made it through the grinder with sausage and then picked up "INTIMIDATION" the same evening for the next day and makes top cut with it. but this isnt supposed to be about that it about the great junior players and the skills that it takes for them to play in their own division. Many older players again showed me their maturity levels by saying junior divison isnt any good or it's all luck based. remember these are kids 10 and under playing other kids! The competition level is the same as it would be for masters. (Not to mention, watching Tristan's match on the big screen, he didn't do a single misplay. he played just like any masters player like Ness or Ross would. now tell me there's no skill in that.)

Congrats to the Junior who won this year...and oh, by the way, he is the 2007 National Champion, and finished well in 2008 Nats...

This leads me to a debate...who has been the GREATEST Junior in the History of the Game to date??

Tristan...Worlds 1st 2008, Nats 1st 2007, 2nd (thanks Dav!) 2008

Curran..Worlds 1st 2005, Nats 1st 2005 (World T4 2008 as a SENIOR)

Hiroki Y (JP)...Worlds 1st 2006, Worlds 2nd 2007

I do not know of any of Hiroki's titles in Japan, but have a tough time putting him low in these rankings.

I am not going to Cloud this with any Regionals or other titles. Nationals, Worlds, that is all.

I am going to make it easy on myself. These are the 3 best Juniors in History in my opinion.

Vince

Let me present to you this fact:

Simone Z. is a player from 2007.
In 2007 he won 3 CC, 2 SPT, 2nd at nats, didnt' attend worlds
In 2008 he won 8 CC, 4 SPT (1 in Germany), won nats, attend for 1st time the worlds and got a 3rd.

I'm not saying he is the best, but is one of the most strongest junior player from europe, and you should consider it for a place in your graduatrion (also 4th place is good, LOL!)

I was joking, I know some people from colorado and was scared of it. I was hanging out w/ Kevin most of the time. You know the feeling. I don't like playing against counter decks, besides he probably should have won. All the people watching said he was junk drawing. Sorry for the confusion.

Curran is also a really good candidate. To win Nationals and Worlds in one yeah is so awesome. And when he moved up, he still performed very well. To T4 Worlds in Seniors is just wow.

Simone Z.

1st Nats 2008 (ger), 2nd Nats 2007 (ger), 3rd Worlds 2008

Not bad stats at all!

I would put that up there with Geoff S. (3rd Nats US 2006 and 2nd Worlds 2006) as having a comparable record with comparable stats.

There are a lot of youngsters who would be in the "4th - 8th" position quite easily.

(or in Worlds speak, dogged good but no trophy!)

Best female Junior of all time!???:thumb:

Anyone wanna guess my vote

And I would probably have to give my vote to Jun... his record at world's as a junior is amazing

(IT), LOL! We do not have only pizza, spaghetti, mandolino, mafia, etc (LOL)
I want you to remember Simone is 10 year, from 1998.
He also got a Brother that is 8 year and done 4-3 at World ;)

I believe it would be lax of us to neglect James B, the only person to earn 3 Regionals Trophies in the same year (taking 2nd at MW 2006, 3rd by concession GL 2006, and 1st St. Louis 2006). Yes, I realize that he never really came close in Nats or Worlds. But, that was one IMPRESSIVE run that year...

Bullados, I also let off the only player to get US Nationals Trophies (top 3) for 3 straight years.

Worlds is the ultimate prize.

That is why I give more credence to that accomplishment.

It takes BOTH skill and luck to end up on top, and the little ones who have done it multiple times really deserve recognition.

Keep reccomending people. These kids love recognition.

Didn't James B finish top 6 in back to back years at Worlds and 2nd in the US once too!???
