Worst Anime ever! Give us your picks.

yu-gi-oh, pokemon (the new series, the old one is decent), and beyblade, all of the shows i used to watch when i was a little kid.
 
beyblade, zoids, metabots, Bakugon, and I know I'm gonna get ALOT of flack on this next one but.....all the Dragon Ball Z cartoons!!! I mean, it takes almost 6 episodes for one guy to power up? the rest of the show is just filler while we watch Goku/whomever learning a new ability/power and charge, charge, charge,ETC. more than I could handle! too bad too, as the very first Dragonball cartoon was fun! Loved Goku w/ a tail!


I like the boondocks, it is ANIME-Styled, but assuredly not anime, another anime like toon I was pleasantly surprised by was Avatar

IMO, anime hasn't been good since the golden age G0 Nagai days, with OG devil man, brave raideen, Getta Robo, Diapolon, Mazinger and all his other Super Robot stuff.

I'm not sure which Zoids series you're referring to, but Zoids Genesis was pretty good. Also, very few people will argue with you about DBZ.

Anyway, sounds like you need a healthy dose of GaoGaiGar and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann.

worst anime ever- bleach
 
Pokemon IMO.

Reasons -
-a 10 year old 10 year old Ash
-A Pikachu that is on a fairly low level whilst being the 'strongest' of Ash's Pokemon.
-Team Rocket being uber lame and still thinking that Pika is special in some way. (I do love James's character btw)
-Basics beating up Stage 2's.
-Repeating plot : Saving and helping people/pokemon, kicking Team Rocket's butt, and so now and then a Gym or Contest.
-And so on, so on and so on.
 
I would like to add on that list that Team Rocket is now getting pokemon to simply replace an item Giovanni haves
One example is a chingling as an alarm clock >_>

I think you meant Bleach, rather than Pokemon.

Bleach was a very good anime, one of the better shounen fighting animes.

I don't see why people are saying Beyblade or Pokemon. Those shows are for 5 year olds.

PLOT in MY Pokemon? No wai! :O

InuYasha takes it without question. 1,000,000,000 episodes of these lines:

Inuyasha: "Kagome!"
Kagome: "Inuyasha!"

It's like watching someone die in slow motion.
 
I'm surprised no one said SD gundam, that was on the air, too. I dunno how I can describe how awful it is.
 
Wow, how could you all hate Beyblade, Beyblade is awesome. I would say Pokemon because nothing ever happens. Ash does not even get trainer battles anymore. Its hard to say what a bad anime is because they all do a very specific thing. Bobobo is just for the laughs as Pokemon is for kid so they can see Pikachu. Do most of you judge after watching 1or 2 ep of it, like most of you did with Beyblade or do you watch it through like most did with Pokemon and then judge. I guess its fair to say that most people who watch anime only watch/ like the more hard core ones like Blood Plus and the more respected ones. I just had to say something. When every I see that someone hates Beyblade, its only because they only watch like 1 or 2 eps and judge based on them. Just remember that when they dub them, they take out all the good stuff and tone it down. Beyblade, Yu-gi-oh and Zoids were not kid shows.
 
Worst Anime series ever IMO:

1. Naruto Shippuuden (Hurricane Chronicles)
2. Yu-Gi-Oh! GX
3. InuYasha
4. BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo

My Reasons:

Naruto Shippuuden (Hurricane Chronicles) - Very poor animation quality and God awful openings and endings for the Japanese Sub is just unbearable. Also the fact that most of the female characters except for Shizune, Hinata, and Ino look like men is just disturbing, yeah that's right Sakura looks like she has a man's body! 0_o

Naruto also gets way less character development in this second part of the series as in the manga adaptation where Sasuke had gotten WAAAY too much panel time as it is. Some of the villians like Orochimaru and Itachi get some disgraceful character death's not to mention Jiraiya good grief... -___-

Yu-Gi-Oh! GX - It was after the series shifted it's focus off of the Ancient Egyptian background that blended with the card game of the series that it got jacked up big time not to mention Yugi Moto is no longer the main character either.

Also the idea of having school divisions based on 3 Egyptian God cards is sorta phail If you ask me, and one of the things I used to like about the YGO series before the GX crap 4Kids ensued was that it almost stayed true to the actual TCG but the love for it is forever lost I'm afraid.

InuYasha - Though it was a decent anime it's flaws was what hurt it most. Ever since I started watching this series I was like when are they ever gonna defeat Naraku and get all the Sacred Jewel Shards already and then someone on the internet throws a curveball at me and I soon realize that I had to read the rest of the Manga to see the ending and I'm like WHAT??

Then again it is like what DeathBerry said about the series, it's like a repetative soap opera that goes back and forth between InuYasha and Kagome where it's like seeing 2 people die in slow motion.

BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo - I can't think of an anime series worse than this peice of crap, it's supposed to be a comedy anime series but it doesn't impress one bit. If you're into comedy anime I'd recommend watching Crayon Shin-Chan otherwise don't bother with BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo.

Dude, Beyblade is totally a kid's show, you'll just have to get over it. Not only that, it exists only to sell toys. Not that that's always a bad thing. I really enjoyed Madan Senki Ryukendo despite being those two things. Zoids, has some universal appeal what with giant robots and such, but is ultimately a children's show and also exists to sell toys. The quality of the series varies between iterations. Yu-Gi-Oh is the only one that can claim not to be made solely to sell merchandise. Still a shounen series, so it's aimed at a slightly higher age bracket than the other two originally.

Anyway, Gankutsuou (The Count of Monte Cristo) was pretty bad. Not that I could actually tell you about the story because I couldn't make it through the first episode without stabbing my eyes out. I'm not sure who thought that was a good idea. Granted the effect doesn't bother me in small doses like in Shugo Chara! (in fact, I don't even notice it anymore) or Jigoku Shoujo, but Gankutsuou abused it way too much.
