Ash's Pikachu!!!! uber pokemon?!

Oh My Goodness Ash's Pikachu must be the most powerful pokemon on Earth, by now he must be an uber uber uber uber uber pokemon! Yet at the beginning of each new era (Orange Islands, Diamond and Pearl, Ruby Sapphire) he can barely beat a Rattata I mean he has what beaten every Gym Leader and Trainer and can't even beat a Rattata!!!

Opinions on Pikachu and any other anime pokemon that should be ubers please feel free to discuss!
 
i know it's so unrealistic their just trying to say like even though its evovled and good doesnt mean the little guy can't win!! ... tut tut angers me
 
Its necessary if they wanna keep the anime running. Or, they could ditch him after a season like all Ash's other Pokemon. But then again, Pikachu is what people who know almost nothing about Pokemon think about when they think of Pokemon. Pikachu is virtually the face of Pokemon. At the beginning of the DP season, we saw Ash's Pikachu TIE this total noob's Elekid in a battle. That is totally unrealistic, but it has to be done to keep the series running. Theres just no way of escaping a situation like this without something coming out wrong.

I hate to break it to you, but Shinji is no noob.
 
Pikachu uber eh? Have you seen Gardenia's Turtwig when it battled against Ash? It's speed is unrivaled to most Turtwig's in the Pokemon World. Not even Ash's Turtwig is as good as Gardenia's which was proven when he used Aipom to win against Gardenia in the Sinnoh Region.

One of my friends was telling me before he went to college that Ash could've evolved his Pikachu into Raichu by making it 10 times stronger than it is now and I told him that would only hurt that Pokemon's agility since Raichu has alot of bulk and mass.

But he told me that Raichu would be twice as fast If Ash were to evolve his Pikachu into Raichu and it probably would've been more powerful than it is right now in the series which is on Diamond & Pearl right now.

Don't get me wrong though I like Volt Tackle since it's one of Pikachu's best offensive moves though. Main reason why Ash didn't evolve Pikachu was basically cause Pikachu is the mascot of the Pokemon series like how Mario is the mascot of Nintendo in general.

i know that but it is just soo funny how he's destroyed trainers and gym leaders everywhere but yet is still terrible.
 
What I thought was funny was the episode where he first battles Roark (DP gym leader No.1). Pikachu has KOd the pokemon of more or less every gym leader, won countless trophies in battle contests, and he's being anhilated by a 2 million year old pokemon. That and the fact that the Cranidos was moving way faster than an Electric Mouse.

What about Lugia? :frown:

remember though, Pikachu cant evolve without a thunder stone, sure Raichu would be much more powerful. But thats not to say Pikachu cant be as powerful or higher level.
 
Aaand... that's the battle, folks! Ash's Pikachu has now defeated all the Elite Four's Pokémon and Mewtwo! And all in one hit with Tackle! A true champion!
 
They should just make an episode where there is a thunder stone laying on the road, Pikachu accidentally steps on it, and POOOF. Problem solved.
 
I wish the show would grow up quite frankly.

11 years going and not only is everyone the same age, but it seems every other anime evolves its characters through age.

he didnt beat elite 4 he battled the 4 hoenh 1ce and got his but kick
 
did any one catch wen Ash traded his aipom to Dawn the aipom that must be ovr lv 50 4 A Buizel that waz nevr used

and then 1 episode latr the aipom evovles to ambipom
