i was paired up against Tom Hall for the last round of swiss and lost it to miss the cut, Tom got T8 against Andy but i dunno how far he went

Sami won again? That's serious skills. Glad to see Tom Hall and Andy went far too. Props to you all. Any news on Seniors?
 
Seniors was..

1st Nicholas F with Dialga/Palkia
2nd Samuel M with Gengar
3rd and 4th Luke P with Kingdra and ??? with Magnezone.
 
Congrats to the new National Champs, and thumbs up to the tired and hard-working staff!

Does anyone have a picture from the event that I could use on my Japanese TCG/OP blog? Along with the names and decks of each winner (Top 2 or Top 4 if possible)? I'm sure Japanese players are eager to know how this year's biggest European Nationals (yet) went. :)

Tell them it was ZapChar, it's a new deck......kills everything and will take them 3 months to learn and all will be good for worlds :)

On a serious note, if you PM Ben (ukpokemonpro here) I am sure he will help you, he had his camera out.

Thanks for a great day everyone! Bit unfourtunate I missed out on Top cut in Seniors due to Opponents Win etc :( Oh well, 4-2 and my first year in seniors - I feel pleased! Both games I lost were down to 1 prize card :O, the first one I lost depended on my opponents having warp point in hand - he did...

By the way, does anyone know when go-pokemon rankings will be updated with Nats?
 
Kish one thing, how can Ian get 5th when i got 5th,lol.........I was 5-1 Swiss 2nd to Sami and lost to Johvan Top 8??? Doesnt 5th go to the highest person in the Swiss?

Well thats what i heard from Chris. Beside, I bet Chris will post it up anyway.
Ian lost to Yacine who came 3rd.
You lost to Johvan who came 4th.
 
yeah thats right nitish.

if the 2nd, 5th, 6th and 8th seed lost in top 8, then 2nd seed get 5th, 5th get 6th, 6th get 7th, and 8th gets 8th. :p
 
Just a quick thank you to everyone who came to the Nationals this year! We are already planning for next year's (I said this last year, however next year WILL be higher up the country) and look forward to seeing you all again then!

Also a big thank you to all the staff, helpers, parents without who the day would not have happened!
