Misplays

So, I don't know about you, but I've made my fair share of misplays. Probably more, but to err is human, right?

Like today at a BR's, I KO'd myself not once, but twice with Gardevoir X's Bring Down. I forgot to Psychic Bind when I played a Mesprit, which made my opponent able to set up another attacker. And the list goes on and on. I still placed 2nd, though.

So what are some of your worse misplays that you can remember?

LOL, I used Telepass when I didn't have Garde SW out, and then played a bunch of other stuff afterwards, which gave me a game loss. lol.

Even worse, it was against a guy who never, ever beat me before. lol.

Playing a Super Scoop Up, getting heads, picking up my benched RR Beedrill (I was playing Speedrill), and realizing I didn't have a BTS out, and no Rare Candy in hand. I lost that game. :(

I used roseanne for a Mesprit LA, and didn't drop it t1 (despite intending to). My opponent proceeds to evolve out 2 claydols, 2 beedrills, and a kakuna on his t2.

just today i used time walk and got my weedle and but i accedently put back my beedrill that i needed and that cost me the BR i was so upset.

I did the same thing as milotic 101 to get a Uxie for 7, but then I realized I had put back my Uxie X, and my 2nd Azelf LA was prized. (AMY fyi)

Me?
2007 Worlds, Shouldn't benched Treeko during setup against Eric Craig's Mew ex/Absolution deck!!!

I've forgotton Fainting Spell. Luckily I got it to sudden death and didn't draw an energy in 11 cards. And I played 11 Energy. It cost me the BR:(

I forgot to attach Unown G when I had Luxray GL X Active and was playing Gengar. Instead, I retreat and attacked with Unown G for 10 damage.

i forgot to dark palm not once, not twice, but three times in one turn. granted it was at league but i had also been told not to forget by my opponent every single time haha

While playing PT Gardevoir (Psychic Connect) I retreated for 1 energy cost before playing SSU for it. Another time, I played SSU to get my Flygon Lv. X back into my hand, but before I had Psychic Connected all of the energy off it.

Then there was the time we each had Flygon Lv. X out, and for some reason he didn't Extreme Attack me, and then I totally neglected to do it to him the next turn. Then I allowed myself to lose on prizes because I forgot I could finish my turn when time was called.

:nonono:

In Regionals, I had Dusknoir Lv X active with Dusknoir SF (damage even) with lots of damage on him. I could have killed anyone, including a benched Delcatty, but I figured Blastoise with 120 damage was a bigger threat. After I took out Blastoise, I realized that if I had KOd Delcatty and Bastoise had come up to attack me, he would have died end of turn because of the Dusknoir stadium card. Cost me the game in round 2.

My most recent BR... had it all planned out to KO this Beedrill, worked out the math, the moves, everything. Went to drop the Crobat for the final 10 HP and..... no bench space. Oops. Really dumb.

The last really major misplay that I remember was putting down a Piplup as a 4th benched pokemon when my opponent had a Dusknoir I had in play. The second I did it I remember thinking to my self "you idiot, how could you forget the dusknoir!!?". Since then I've been very, very carefull to try not to make stupid mistakes...

I played Copycat against Jason K. (Ness), but accidentally shuffled Copycat and the other cards back into the deck. Instead of leaving the Copycat card next to my active Pokemon (Victreebel FRLG). By the way, it was at a T16 regionals tournament, but I lost 1-2 to him anyways...

poketurning my damaged gallade x before galacting switching the energy to my benched gallade 4. it was against a matchamp, it had 30 damage on it and i would've killed it with aimed cut. instead i had to use chop up. i lost that btw
