I figured I would make this thread so we can all discuss and get an idea of the best and worst cards to use for the Pokemon Rumble TCG. :thumb:

Some cards that my friends and I use to make the game more fun:
Claydol from TATM
Beautifly RS
(We play this as you heal 1 from your Pokemon that you put a counter on to win)

Cards we found to be overpowered:
Dusclops SS

Venusaur would be so epic if you could ever roll its attacks.

I see a lot of mew, Gyarados, and Ninetales hype when my league plays, but I don't play it myself much.

My league took a bunch of random cards and put them into the Rumble deck - stuff like Aggron and Arcanine RR, Garchomp C, etc... Makes the game very interesting.

We put in Magikarp MT. Roll WW - DRAGON RAGE FOR SIXTY [we ignore the coin flips]

Charizard G lv X has to be one of the worst cards, since it can't attack. Actually the Magikarp that flips coins to draw cards has to be the worst. Neither can do anything, but Magikarp has 30 HP.

I use Rampardos - a single fighting energy deals 80.

The way me and my friends play though is that you ignore all effects of attacks except coin flips for success or coin flips to figure out damage calculation. All other effects are ignored - so the 40 recoil isn't factored it.

POP9 Garchomp is pretty beastly as well. 3 energy of any kind deals 100!

I like that idea. It'd be such a tank.
We used it just for fun and couldn't get it to attack or get knocked out. And I had my chip thing on it, so of course I was using Rest every time it got hurt. For the Sleep condition, we just had it skip a turn.

Reprint Charizard could be decent if you take its Body into account. Garchomp SV is the absolute best though i.m.o.

I really broken card for rumble is Metagross UL. 2 of any energy for 60 damage. Plus Flygon, just repeatedly using sand wall and power swing.

I like using Neo Genesis Lugia because it's attack cost is one fire, one water, and one electric. It works surprisingly well for rumble :)

Yanmega Prime!!! No Energy Attack, because of it's body. You all have 0 Cards in your hand always, so every turn it does 70 for 0 Energy
