Has anyone thought about sending them civilized e-mails asking about where and when Nats will be? And by "civilized", I mean make it sound like a professional question and not a drama story about yourself.
If they haven't officially released any info on Nats, I HIGHLY doubt they'll be answering email inquiries about it.

However, it would be hilarious if they did.

What makes you think that they would be willing to say anything in an email if they won't post it here?

Its not that they don't know ANYTHING about US Nationals, its just they can only release the information as a complete package.

I'm going to go out on a Pro tPCI limb here: if the prizes for nats this year were going to be BETTER than last year, maybe that is whats holding it up? Maybe someone at Pokemon is fighting the good fight for our benefit?

Whoever said we'll never know why is probably right.

To all those people expecting nationals to be in Origins, consider that it is likely to be held in the same location as the videogame nationals. Doesn't anyone think its at least a little bit awkward to hold that in origins?

Baltimore has a baseball team?

Which of the minor league franchises are you referring to, the Orioles or the Nationals LOL.

I'm to the point of, St. Louis, wherever, just please let us know!!!

Vince
funny as heck. philly would be a nice place, we actually have a good baseball team (best in the national league, and bound to get even better.)

i vote we hold nationals somewhere that prolly wont get hit with a natural disaster

Then that pretty much means that it's going to be in MD or VA or PA considering the noticeable lack of anything even remotely exciting happening other than the occasional large summer thunderstorm. Even then, our thunderstorms are nothing compared to what they have in central US.

MD/VA/PA nats 2010! Who's with me?

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

No, no, no. Let's see how the best players play under PRESSURE.

No problem! We can just host nats in the Baltimore aquarium... over the shark tanks.

Seriously? Worlds has been held in California how many times? Three?

Earthquakes, mud slides, fires...

They should at least tell us the dates.

From Jan 07, 2005 by Professor Dav...

Ohio is a very centrally located state. By holding our Nationals there, no one is too far away to attend, or, at least, not an entire country away.

It is much harder for someone from NY to make it to say, California, than it is for someone from California to make it to Ohio, and NY to Ohio.

There are more people EAST of the Mississippi than there are West of the Mississippi as well, putting a majority of the population nearer the event.

FYI- Our current plans are to hold our Nationals at Origins every year, until we outgrow the venue.

Two things of interest...

1. "until we outgrow the venue" - Have we outgrown the venue? I think maybe so.

2. This was JAN 7 of 2005. We're a month past that this year.

Bahahaha I laughed so hard at this! It's soooo true, we only get a little something every now and then, like every 8 years or so. We're so bland.

Way to go Zach. Some good slack there buddy. And you shouldn't be too concerned about when and where it is, since you aren't from the US, nor are you a professor that could go in the professor cup. Good job.

Don't you have to be 18 to become a professor? I am turning 18 next week// I am allowed to state my views on a situation even if it doesn't affect me (It may affect me if I want to enter the professor cup, given I have the points and I am a professor, or if I want to go to chill with people). My overall point was "what is up with everything Pokemon related this year???" I am not trying to argue with anyone at all but, none of this concerns anybody other than US residents or international professor cup players (assuming that there is a professor cup and it is linked with the US Nats). I guess opinions aren't allowed here on the gym, peace.
