Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars
Hello Uxie, Uxie X. Gonna top Luxray prices, I think.

Format-wise, *jawdrop* Did not expect that. I guess that means that Japan is going to stay DP-on for another year, and we should expect Platinum-on next (uh oh, started the new format topic).
I'm expecting RR-on to be next, personally. From what they said, they want 9 sets at the start of a season, and 13-ish at the end. That means about 4 rotated sets. I'm expecting at least RR-on (or at least, it better be RR on. I'm tired of SP.)

That makes sense if they want to keep it at 9 sets at the start of a rotation, but Platinum on makes it easier for kids to understand.

Then again, this rotation isn't really kid friendly to be honest.

I don't see pop 8... I guess that means Roseanne's is gone...

Everyone saw Claydol gone, but UXIE STAYS!?!? What!?

*Goes off to buy 4 of each SP engine card*

EDIT:

Oh yeah! Porygon-Z promo AND all the TMs stay! I get to play Promogon for another format! (Once they print new Porygon and Pory2s, that is)

Luxray is about to spike at prices higher than any Pokemon card that isn't a collectors item should ever hit. The only reliable draw power in the game will be Uxies and Ninetales. So every deck that doesn't play a Fire energy line will be obviously running Uxie. meaning the Luxray player, who still has Call energy in his deck to ensure getting 3 SP Pokemon out rediculously early, will be able to hold Sprays until the best moment, and then sweep through every other deck.

Seriosuly. The only important MD card is Call. They should;'ve AT LEAST rotated MD out D:D:D:D:

Whoa! MD on is next year's format!!?? Man, that's quite good I must say. Roseanne's, Dusknoir DP, Claydol, PLOX, Wager, Night Maintenance, Felicity's, and Unown G leave next year. I thought the format would be PL on, but with MD, things will seem even better, in my opinion, for some reasons.

Luxchomp will still live on now that Uxie isn't rotated. Luxchomp can't just rely on Cyrus. It needs Uxie too. Now that Uxie hasn't been rotated means the Luxchomp will still live on.

Then, Unown G's absence means that Machamp will be broken for sure. That I am glad to see. Finally, Machamp will make a great comeback.

Call Energy will still remain, thus continuing to be a staple, and Uxie and Uxie Lv.X will be the number cards for drawpower in most decks. Azelf will also still be a staple too. Here, it's good to see some staples remain.

Sablelock will also live on now that Sableye remains. Gyarados will live on too since he comes from SF, where Sableye comes from too.

Yeah, so I can see that Luxchomp, Gyarados, and Sablelock will still remain during next year's format. Yet, I'm not sure about Jumpluff. Jumpluff will probably have to use Uxie for help. Oh well, I actually can't wait for next year that's for sure!

Those are 2 PROBLEMS with MD-on
We're sick of LuxChomp, 1 dominating season is enough
No one wants Machamp running around. No skilled player likes to see donks

Am I the ONLY GUY who's noticed that our Claydol have only been used 1 or maybe 2 turns per game???

So... I'm thinkin I take out 2-2 claydol and put in a hand refresh supporter ?

Average game = 10 turns. It ain't that hard man.

SSU + Uxie + supporters = what the heck we've been doing for the past year anyway .... lol

and for the record. I freakin' LOVE MD-on. Really caught me offguard there.

People act like there won't be another 4 sets to bring us drawpower :/

@BM:Unown Q is cute, but not like the format would be devestated by its absence or lack there of. Chatot has never been a big deal to me, its nice but isn't great. Warp point however, i had forgotten about. Really makes you wonder....why even bother with Circulator -.-

Porygon-Z X you loser, makign me think Pory2 would stick around for glory D:

I guess Jumpluff could use more Uxie and Sunflora HGSS, but it won't be as good as it used to be. Sablelock will be much better. Luxchomp will still be good. Gyarados is iffy as judge will be a very good card to use in the next format.

Tomorrow's news:

Pokemon OP -
Yesterday's announcement of the 2010-2011 Modified Format was a joke. Its really Platinum-on.

Ahh, a guy can only wish.

Anyways, goes with Hatter to build Machamp.

Yes, they like to see Garchomp Turn-1 with a DCE and Energy Gain.

They like to see Sableye active, attach a special dark, drop crobat, poke-turn, and Turn-1 the opponent.

With SP decks and strong basics, decks are donking more now than ever.

Don't blame donking on Machamp. He didn't invent it, and he isn't the most popular donk now, and yet he gets all the blame.

Please tell that this is a "Late April Fools Day" joke. I'm so going to quit Pokemon again for next years format and going to stick to playing Brawl all year.

I was prepared that next year's format will be PL-on, but the mere fact that everything will stay the same pretty much bothers me. What's worse is Jumpluff, the deck i'm playing now will be worse without a viable counter to Luxchomp and Sablelock.

I wish there's some way we could write a petition to the POP company and tell them to make it PL-on!
