What techs can beat Luxchomp?

I've tested out the techs: Mewtwo Lv. X, Machamp, and Donphan. But none of them seem to work that well. Can any of you guys think of techs to use against Luxchomp?

Mewtwo is cool once it gets setup, but how often will it get setup, and they have a chance of beating you on time (they probably have a prize lead on you).

Machamp is cool, but once again kinda hard to setup, and his weakness kills his efficiency.

Like Machamp, donphan is only effective if you play more than one. Most luxchomp's can kill it once, but twice or more is really diffucult.

Promocroak and Ambipom are pretty good, but don't expect an autowin just because you play them.

Fan Rotom gets killed way too easily and takes too much energy.

Draggy's cool on paper, but it forces you to waste a poke turn once your done, not to mention the fact that it takes a DCE and an Energy Gain. Plus it can just be counter killed by garchomp's earthquake.

Rapidash is just like mewtwo, only worse because they can still hit with uxie x or other attackers (they're bound to have a couple).

In the end, there aren't many techs that effectively counter luxchomp. Decks, maybe. But not techs.

Aerodactly GL is a lesser thought of one it stops your opponent from Leveling Up and does 80 for 1 F and a Gain and a expert belt which KO's Luxray GL *not the X.

Hey yeah! Throw an Unown G on there too and your immune from all effects! And Lucky Egg as well should make recovery less of a problem! This is awesome!

Thanks I dont understand why alot of people use this over Promocroak they both have Pros and Cons but idk it seems like it would be popular

The problem with Aerodactyl is that it only does 30 with F and a Gain. You can't attach an Expert Belt to it with a gain as well. Though, it is VERY interesting....

Promocroak and Ambipom G are the most commonly used and reliable counters.

However, that forces them to burn a turn or energy to retreat a Pokemon they otherwise wouldn't have.

aerodactyl is x2 weakness to lightning which is pretty much luxray, dce and expert belt, bite ftw. you may have stopped me from leveling up for a turn... but i just killed you with bite. so instead of getting a prize you stalled for a second and gave me a prize.

your best techs if you play sp is ambipom and promocroak. if you dont play sp its ambipom and mankey. if youre running a psychic deck, mewtwo, thats about it. machamp is decent and donphan is terrible cause it gets crobat g poisened for death due to its high retreat.

Azelf MT can definitely slow them down. However, you have to run Mesprit LA as well, and with Uxie, that's 3 Bench spots. Decks like Jumpluff can run them, but other decks might have some trouble.
