Hydration Vaporeon is just awesome but too bad Vappy is to slow to get it off though but is a beast in a rain dance team. I think I might make one now. I do hope Pidgeot gets like Pure Power or some other awesome ability because both of them are really unusable. I do like the Articuno, Moltres and Zappy Wappy as well. Looks like I have some work to do now.
 
I love the the little poler bear one kumashun and its upper evolvment furjiijio i could see a level x card for furjiijio and a lot others. And yea this is the weirdist generation of pokemon.

585-586: "baby" & evo versions of Stantler?

626: Tarous/Milktank evo?

Anyhow, 649 looks pretty cool (kind of looks like something from Mospeda (or Robotech Invid invasion).

Stage 2's don't evolve.
 
I love the way this generation is shaping up. To get a bug type legendary that could crush a mewtwo easily is a long awaited entry to the pokemon franchise.

If Pokemon keeps this up people will not play the game any more they need to leave fan sites alone

3 Sites I go to were told they can no longer put any Pokemon images on there site so they are shuting down at the end of the month

2 of them have been around before Gen 3 came out


I am glad Bulbapedia still has its imgaes up

The new Chandeller Pokemon (Fire/Ghost) is going to be very scary to go up against, now that he has Shadow Tag. Imagine using Substitute and 6 CM's against a trapped Blissey, thanks to Shadow Tag. Also, he could be used as a choice scarf revenge killer, just like Dugtrio in the olden days.

We can also saftely assume that being Ghost + Fire, he will be a Will-o-Wisper too
 
I'm having trouble understanding the about-face re: video game images. One would think posting such images (if only of the Pokemon sprites) would be seen as a good thing, since it helps fans get a feel of the game before it comes out in their country.

I sincerely hope Nintendo reconsiders. I'm still going to pre-oreder the games, however.

Well, Nintendo has their reasons. I am sure there are reasons that are "Need to know" basis, and frankly - fans don't NEED to know. They WANT to know.

I saw Pokebeach's recent outburst, and i am sure serebii and other sites are not happy about it either - but they must have their reasons. I am sure it is just to try to keep the element of surprise for the players, both new and old.
 
I still think that it is a silly idea that none of the new Pokemon are in any way related to the previous 493 Pokemon.
Especially the ones that are so obviously just a copy/upgrade from another Pokemon.
As for the "Beedril" evo thing, I kind of said that it could also be an "alternate" version (like Gardevoir/Gallade).

Anyhow, I will definately still get the game.
 
Regardless of Nintendo's 'reasons', they can't request every single image to come down. Fair Use dictates that fansites can use some images. They could throw a fit because some sites had a LOT of images (Screenshots particularly) but they still can have some They can request any screenshots showing major plot events be taken down, sure. But Serebii's sprites? He's been using sprites in the Pokedex for what, 10+ years now?

Also, their letter they sent, if what WPM posted was the real letter, has to be a joke. Any lawyer who gets a job working for as big a company as Nintendo ought to know BASIC GRAMMAR. Quoting directly from the letter put up by WPM:

"Your activity also AND has the potential to cause..." (Caps for emphasis)

That 'and' is wrong on so many levels. No one in Nintendo's office noticed that?

Also, giving 24 hours for a WRITTEN response is unreasonable, and completely indefensible legally. Even a webmaster cannot be expected to check his site every day. Life interferes. Things happen. There have been times where it's been a week in between updates. Even if he managed to see their 'request' in time, he might not have had time to draft a proper response. That time window is ludicrous.

In short, I really, REALLY hope that letter is fake. If not, Nintendo needs to fire all of their lawyers and hire a fresh bunch.
 
If it's a website you can post here, I'd appreciate a link. That sounds like something someone made up. Of the people I know who are playing the game, only 2 shinies have been found, which is about the same as previous games.
