Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

a BUDGET! top deck

Arceus..

you have to learn how to play the deck correctly.
but after you do, it has good matchups across the board.
('cept for Machamp)

do most of you guys think that it will have a major impact on what is played? right now vilegar seems like a good choice for me as it looks like my meta is going to be mostly luxchomp. i can just tech against the dialgachomp matchup.

Remember some of this also has to do with which age group your in. VileGar around Texas in Masters has not done well but in Seniors it flourishes. Your Meta should dictate more of what your looking for IMHO. Personally, I would get staples first that can be found in Most decks then go from there. See what you already have that is Legal and work backwards. Spiritombs if using VileGar are now a League Promo so attending League will help with some of that cost and Azelf will be one as well. Look long term and gauge your Cities Dates. This should help with some of your spending!

i really don't have any stuff anymore. i've heard about gengar prime, but i don't know whether or not to believe the hype. i might just invest in luxchomp, but that is alot of money. how does dialgachomp compare to it?

If there is lots of SP in your area Machamp is epic. I won a BR w/ it because only 3 people WEREN'T playing SP.
Kingdra is good if u have uxie x

i mean its not like i can't get uxie x. do you have ur machamp decklist? how does it matchup against vilegar and other nonsp decks?

is arceus very expensive?

Vile-gar isn't a bad deck. It is a solid meta-game play. As SP worry about other SP's they stop worrying about Vile-Gar..... And run higher trainer counts.

Gengar Prime might give it good options. I would not use the Gengar LvlX. Go 3 SV (fainting spell), 1 AR (curse). Personally the dialga match up goes the way of the lock. If they can get Dialga out, the lock is gone, and Gengar Level X doesn't change the outcome by much.

Arceus is quite expensive depending on the list. Like all the Pokemon a holo rares! Champ looses to like... Everything. Even SP can beat it depending on SPs start. TTar is a good mid expensive high tier 2 deck. Dialgachomp/Sableock is the most inexpensive SP deck.

Please. Don't think champ beats SP just cause it says "kill a basic every turn"
Invest in SP. BDIFs > Stage 2 (except Vilegar perhaps)
