Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North & East Texas City Championships 2010-2011

Pumped for tomorrow!

glhf everyone!

Also, Dirty Bill, you comin' to Haltom, Watauga, or Fort Worth? I want to buy a HT shirt :D

I have no idea where you heard the rumor that Wolfpack was going to Tyler. the rumor is flat out wrong....

Desmond, Jarvis, and DeMarcus. That pretty much covers all of Wolfpack. When I asked them if they were going to Halthom, they all said "Dave is driving us to Tyler for Cities." So if that's not true, then so be it. I can only go by what others tell me when I ask a simple question. I hope to see all the Wolfpack team in Halthom tomorrow. We need to show that Fort Worth team how the game is supposed to be played. LOL

What's easier to get to: Haltom City, or Tyler?

All else being equal, if the Wolfpack guys go to Tyler instead of Haltom City if the second's easier to get to, then they're scared.

Tyler City championship

Proud PokeAunt today...all did well in Tyler today. Travis B -1st in seniors, Annika F - 3rd in juniors, Jantie F 4th in juniors. The girls both went 2-1. Now it's time for the Master's top cut.

if anyone has pics from the Haltom City tournament please post them in here or a link to them. I like to see them. I think people seeing this post that was there will know what i am talking about.

MILO!!!

That was hilarious

If anyone is curious...

Seniors:
Thomas: Gyarados w/ DGX
Brandon: Gyarados w/ Luxray
Sean: BLG
Jacob: I think Gyarados or Donphan

Edit: I heard that a lot of Team Wolfpack went to Tyler for easier competition.

Way to go natalia! !!

All of Team Wolfpack went to Tyler for easier competition!!
Congrats to my daughter Natalia. Once again, her first City Championship Tourny, her First City Championship. Just like her first Battle Roads Tourny in Sherman. Let's see if the old man can do anything, because he stunk up the joint today going 3-2 and finishing only 16th.

Congrats Baby Girl, and we'll get 'em again at the next City Championship.

Oh; you're her dad!

Great job Natalia (however you say that )

EDIT: For those of you not at Haltom, there was a crowd of about 15 people around Milo while he was playing. And when his opponent took a prize they all started clapping.

Tyler City Championship

Tyler was great.
Wolf Pack took Masters... was hoping for a metal win from Team Geriatric, but Spotter took 3rd.
(and the competition in Tyler isn't that easy for all of those who think. The Masters Texas State Champion lost to Tyler's players and did not make the top 4.)
Juniors (7 players)
1 Dawson T
2 Nicky B
3 Annika F
4 Jantie F

Seniors (7 Players)
1 Travis B
2 Austin T
3 Riley S
4 Gabby B

Masters (10 Players)
1 David V
2 Jarvis L
3 Shane P
4 Johnluke G

I'm Sorry, but 10 players in Masters is not a competitive field. I don't know the exact number in Halthom, but there was a MINIMUM of 36 Masters. I don't know the exact number, but I was 34 on the list, and people were still registering. The real competition was in Halthom, 35 minutes down the road from Dallas.

And that, my friend, is why Wolfpack went to Tyler .

It's not quantity, its quality. Tyler obviously has more quality players show up at their tourneys.
