What are the coolest primes in Triumphant? Why, Yanmega and Gengar of course. Heres a deck utilizing the two.

Pokemon:

3 Yanma Triumphant
3 Yanmega Prime Triumphant
2 Chansey Platinum
2 Blissey HGSS
3 Gastly Stormfront
2 Haunter Triumphant
1 Gengar Prime Triumphant
1 Gengar Stormfront
2 Gengar Lv X Platinum: Arceus
2 Mr. Mime Call of Legends
2 Uxie Legends Awakened
1 Azelf Legends Awakened

T/S/S:

4 Judge
4 Copycat
3 Looker's Investigation
3 Pokemon Communication
2 Collector
4 Rare Candy
2 Quick Ball
3 Vs Seeker
1 luxury Ball
2 Proffesor Elm's

Energy:

6 :psychic:
2 :colorless: Rescue

Strategy:
Get out a Yanmega Prime Fast. He can attack for no energies with the help of Copycat, Judge or Looker's (sometimes). While you have Yanmega up attacking get Gengar Stormfront on your bench and get another yanmega ready. After your first Yanmega goes down put in the Yanmega. use cards to look at your opponents hand to determine whether or not you want to use poltergeist. (This applies to the next Gengar Prime too for Hurl) Use 2 Mr Mimes to look at you opponents hand before and after Judge. Use Blissey to completely heal Yanmega for no cost. Use Vs seeker to get back Judge. Yeah. Gengar Lv X to fight against Dialgachomp.

Problems:
It is slow. The problem is I'm using supporters to attack and search for cards. I also want to fit in Seekers somewhere too. Any Suggestions? Thanks in advance!

hmmm.... it seems like you are trying to play two different decks in one - almost always making it watered down with just a sixty card slot ;_;

i would suggest speed Yanmega Prime! energyless, consistent turn 1 starts, and has GREAT results against Gyarados :thumb:

also, in specific regards to the two mr. mime CoL's in the decklist - that is a great idea, but bench space will be used more then you think. Even one mr. Mime CoL can be a pain by taking up a slot on the bench. trust me :p

I edited the heck out of it. I took out a lot and it is much smoother. I'm still going to run the gengar line because of how cursegar can do loads of damage and how gengar lv X can control luxchomp and dialgachomp.

I also took out this:

-3 Looker's Investigation
-3 Pokemon Communication
-2 Collector
-2 quick ball
-3 Vs Seeker

I added someProf Oaks New Method, Pokegear, PokeDrawer and more. Thanks I will have an updated decklist shortly.

Yanmega

Yanmega is a fanastic deck but dont run it energyless. Attack energyless with the first one but then power up you seond on the bench while you are doing it. about 8 energy should be enough with Cyrus and Arron's in the deck.

Attack energyless with the first yanmega while you manually power up the 2nd one of the bench.

It works very well as is. It is 1 deck. The strategy is to stall with yanmega until gengar is set up. Gengar works well with the flow of judges and such. This is one deck. It is a rogue deck. It is not the average yanmega deck. It is Yanmegar. It is much faster now and competes with top decks. It is no different than building up a donphan prime on the bench. I just prefer gengar over donphan.

why are you running a 4-3 yanmega line? either make it 4-4 or 3-3. Also, I heavily suggest -1 Mime CoL -1 Team Rockets Trickery (helps you opponent against your teched in gengar element) -2 Gengar LVL X (too slow) this deck heavily needs pokemon collectors - preferably +4, and Giratina Let Loose is absolutely vital to the Yanmega side of your deck - a searchable judge that does not take a supporter slot! Also, I would run expert belt if you want to stall and swarm with yanmega effectively. Also, it is really a myth that you need so much hand equalizer support - it is actually quite easy to equal out hands naturally once you get the hang of it. Of course, teching in a 1-1 Sunflora HG/SS and / or a regice line will help significantly to 100% get the equalizer. -4 copycat imo ^^

wow. Thanks. This is a big help. Really, thanks. ok -1 gengar lv X. Just in case of Dialgachomp i'm keeping one. I added 2 pokemon collector because thats all I have. +1-1 Sunflora. rockets and 1 mime are gone. added one expert belt, because it doesn't help gengar and I'm not a fan of Expert belt. I Have a question on giratina though. It says you draw up to 4 cards. And I draw first. Can't my opponent just draw 3 cards instead?

also -4 copies. obviously now.

Yes, they actually can do that. But think about it. Since they are drawing only four cards already, chances are they could get a pretty bad hand. Drawing less cards even raises those chances! but say your opponent is foolish, and decides to do just that - draw just one. This is where regice comes in. You can regimove to discard two cards from your hand - and then you should very easily be able to use one of your trainers or dead search with them to get one more card out of your hand. This puts you and the opponent with no hand, but look who is hitting (with yanmega at least) for 70-90 damage that probably cannot be returned quickly with hand lock? You are.

If you do not know what dead searching is; it is basically when you have a card that searches your deck for something - like pokemon collector, dual ball, great ball, bebe's search, anything like that. The contents of your deck is considered private knowledge, so you can just fail it and discard just the search card. Filling your deck with cards that can do this - like dual ball, pokemon communication, pokemon collector, etc. is much more effective it seems than running so many copycats and judges - getting the same amount of cards in your hand than your opponent is easier than you think and is definitely an art form! :thumb:

Wow, thanks again. Do you have a decklist ofyour version of this deck. You know it a lot better than I do. I'm probably going to take out the gengar line and such and replace it with a 2-2 mewtwo lv X to combat SP decks. Thanks again
