Jungle Cards without Set Symbol

I'm working on the daunting task of sorting all of my cards. I've run into a handful that I'm not quite sure what to do with. They appear to be Jungle cards, specifically Jolteon, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, and Pidgeot. Everything about these cards looks correct, except for the lack of set symbol.

Is this a known misprint?
Are they from a different set?

No that's the Jungle set symbol. I have that Kangaskhan and it's first ed and has that symbol. All of my Jungle cards have that symbol. I belive it is the top of a Vileplume head not a lake.

All the holos were misprinted without the set symbol in one print run.

They are still from the Jungle set.

I'm not sure about specifics, but I know for certain that there was a print run or two that didn't include the set symbol, so it's a known misprint. No idea how much they'rea ctually worth, though.

Thoose aren't misprints! That's the Jungle symbol! My entire Jungle has that symbol and there not misprints!

You can get a lot of them on eBay for $10 BIN. They are worth more than the corrected ones because of the smaller print run.

And pokfan, yes, the links were to cards with the symbol, but the OP specifically states without the set symbol.

there are misprints in jungle. leave this to the professionals... you may have the whole jungle set but only a FEW print runs were misprints. you probably just have a normal set.

While you can easily pick any of them up on a BIN of $10, the ones which actually sell only bring around $2-$4 each (the non errors only bring a dollar give or take). Those listed at the BIN price never sell and keep being relisted, ergo they top out at around $4. Every now and then one will sell for 5ish but it's a rare occurrence.
