Haxorus VS Hydreigon

It's really annoying me now. I've looked at some posts other people have made, but I can't make my mind up. Which is better for competetive play?
Hydreigon has a better movepool, but Haxorus gains Swords Dance/D-Dance. I have no idea what to go for!
Edit: I know Salamence and Garchomp destroy these, but I already have a Mence and will soon be getting a Chomp too. I can't decide between these 2.

Garchomp outclasses Haxorus anyday, thanks to having base speed, swords dace, and immunity to electric. Only thing Haxorus has that neither Hydreigon or Garchomp have is dragon dance (not that Hydreigon needs one). Although, Haxorus has mold breaker, so you can use an Earthquake on a incoming levitators, such as Gengar and friends and I think you can bypass the sturdy ability as well.

Does Mold Breaker work the whole time Haxorus is on the field or does it only activate the moment you send Haxorus out?

The entire time.

And both those Pokemon have good points and bad points. For a mixed set I'd do Hydreigon, for a DD set I'd do Haxorus, and SD goes to Garchomp.

Yeah. Someone has Double Chop (I think it's called that) on their Haxorus to get around Subs, sashes and Sturdy (which is very annoying).
But atm, I'm breeding for my Hydreigon. Been breeding all day for good IVs.

I've been breeding 31 speed, timid, dark pulse dienos, if you want one. The other IV's are kinda meh, though.

From a purely statistical standpoint, one on one Hydregion will almost always come out on top in the end because it's a point faster in Spe than Haxorus, plus it has the necessary power to OHKO. This is obviously with the assumption that no other battle conditions are in place (Tailwind, Scarfs, etc).

In terms of usefulness, both Sally and Garchomp are better of course (unless you follow rules that classify both as uber), but Hydregion again I'd also argue is better; you can have him as special, pull off a fairly viable mixed set, or even use him as a physical attacker. Haxorus is more limited, but does pull off very useful DD and SD sets, which if allowed to set up, could potentially sweep a lot easier thanks to Mold Breaker.

So yeah, in the end it depends on what you need; an overall faster and still hard hitting Pokemon with no real way to become stronger (think Zero from Mega Man X), or one that requires a bit of setup, but can then demolish almost anything afterwords (like X from Mega Man X).

Hydregion all the way.
The point everyone has failed to bring up is that he has three heads.
Machamp is awesome due to his four arms.
Same logic only with heads instead of arms.
Plus you can name him Cuddles and completely throw people for a loop.

lol, it's k.
I'm trying to get 30 HP, 31 SpA and 31 Spe.
I might just forget about the HP though. Would be nice to have it above 20 though. Mainly focused on the 31 SpA and Speed. Mine are also Timid w/ Dark pulse! High five!
Edit: LOL H4X. Just hatched one with the IVs and nature I listed above.

I actually got a shiny, modest flawless IV's, Deino, thanks to the RNG feature. However, I don't have Dark Pulse as part of his moveset, since I caught it in the wild, using the C-Gear.

lol, nice. Except I don't count RNG as legit. Let's no go into detail/argue if it's legit or not. We have our opinions.

I have thought of a way for Haxorus to defeat Hydreigon.
T1: Hydreigon uses Draco Meteor, but Haxorus holds on with Focus Sash. Haxorus uses Dragon Dance.
T2: (Now faster than Hydreigon,) Haxorus uses Dual Chop. Hydreigon is sure to go down. If it has Sash or not, he will die. Only thing is pursuit will kill the Haxorus.

I see Hydregion as performing as a non-legendary/uber Latios/Latias. The combination of Draco Meteor & U-Turn is absolutely scary.
There are many ways for Haxorus to overcome the one point of speed differential. The simplest IMO is to for a focus sashed Haxorus (with Mold Breaker) to hit Hydregion with Bulldozer which will both undo pop any sash as well as trash its' speed, allowing Haxorus to kill it easily the next turn.

Depends, Druiddgon is more than viable on a TR team and has fairly nice defenses, so in no way is he really that outclassed.
