Beedrill G gets 11th place at TX States (?)(!)
So…I’m playing Beedrill G again, same standard list and stuff, brought a kid with me in Seniors playing Umbreon (went 2-4 ) and one in Juniors playing Vileplume/Machamp/Umbreon (went 4-2 ). TX States is huge, 247 players, 55 Seniors. Here we go…
Round 1: vs. ??? with Giratina
I was pretty scared here when he eventually got 2 Giratinas, as I couldn’t really Fade Out for much. However, he misplays with the Cyclone switch at the end, and I Psychic Restore for the knockout, with him having 2 prizes left. GG

Round 2: vs. DeMarcus’s Nephew with Donphan
I go first, he starts Phanpy to my Uxie. I Psychic Restore for 20, stay up, and pass. He’s 1 card away (Donphan) from donking ME, so he’s forced to pass. I get the donk on him, as he had no other basics. GG

Round 3: vs. ??? with Vilegar
Lol T2 Gengar donk GG.

Round 4: vs. ??? with Vilegar
I take a few prizes this match, play around the Tombs, and snipe Glooms, but I still simply cannot win. Oh well, GG while it lasted.

Round 5: vs. Isabella with Machamp
She couldn’t really get anything, I kill her Regirock T2. She uses Eevee to Call for an Unown R, and puts Machop on the bench. I T3 triple donk her. GG
3-2
Round 5: vs. Jeremy with Leafeon
I take the first prize as he is able to easily KO anything in my deck with Leafeon. I just Cyclone around it and take cheap prizes with Blower, and eventually I win 1-0. GG
4-2!
So…eventually it is announced that I get 11th place My friend in Juniors who went 4-2 also got 11th, which is nice considering it’s his second tournament (3rd place at a BR). Overall, a nice experience, met like everyone in Texas, met Storm07 (cool dude), and a few other guys.
