Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Banned

Read the rules of a site and adhere to them like a Priest adheres to the Bible. Having fun is fine and dandy, but when it involves spamming a website or harassing another member verbally, that is definitely banworthy. This post has little-to-no context and we really cannot tell you exactly why you got banned. Some sites have harsher mods while some are really loose. I have been to sites where the mods swear and make fun of their members. I have been to this site where the mods all really care and will do their jobs without question. Get a feel for the mods before doing anything questionable. Moreover, I would guess that, from what I've seen in your posts, you can get on some people's nerves. Just be careful and think before you post :)

Remember do not make enemies on forums.
They may one day gain mod powers and ban you for there personal reason and steal one of your guides form another site and force post it with your accounts name and follow you to a few other sites.

Can't answer your question without more info. What was the nature/ circumstance of your banning? Was it language based or were you threatening someone else? More specificity will garner more on topic responses.

Maybe your defenition of fun is way different then the rules of the sites you tro... I mean visit at.

Here on the Pokegym, you do not want to sit and eat a box of troll cookies while you post- as those cookies influence a bad form of fun and can result in giving you a ban.

Also, there are some things I would say or do differently on a site that I have just joined, a site that I have been on for a considerable amount of time and know people on, and a site where I mod. People are different. Learn about them before you do something "Questionable!"

Gamefaqs has probably, and I'm sorry if I offend anyone, some of the dumbest people I've ever met. On almost every thread I've gone to, the first page is full of good info, but I swear EVERYTHING after that is junk. :(

this site isn't so friendly either. There are some mad mods on here (I'm not going to say any names). I was recently banned for virtually no reason a couple of days ago. the only thing i can tell you to help yourself on this site is try your best to not give the mods a reason to ban you (which I know is hard >.<).

A LOT of gamefaqs users are underage. I started posting stuff at that site when I was 16 and I am now 26. Now, I can see the quality of the stuff there is severely lacking from what it was 10 years ago, but it's gotten a bit better, but I can still see that the people there are still in middle/high school or college, which says a lot about their maturity or lack thereof.

if you're at all involved with organized play, this forum is probably the one you want to be well behaved on (like i am). an old alter alias of mine has been demoted/banned on almost every other major pokemon forum i can think of... those were busy highschool years.

Gamefaqs rules are different than here. They expect you to follow them as some sort of constitution. They don't have freedom of speech, but when I first joined on that site in 1999, when you could mark messages from another user, you could see the reason for that moderation. Now, a moderator can just give you a warning for any reason. It's one of the many reason that I no longer go there except to check out reviews/walkthroughs for games. The boards really have no standards.
