Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

North America SPT Attendance 2011

Nebraska States:

49 Masters
6 Seniors
10 Juniors
65 Total

I did actually write down these numbers (unlike Kansas) so they are accurate. I'm not sure why the Kansas numbers are so wildly off on the website. I may have been off by 1 or 2 going from memory but there are clearly a lot of other issues with the player records on TPC's end.

The JR/SR uploads for Nebraska are a bit delayed. We did a split sanctioning on the event but didn't get to 8 Seniors, so we had to run JR/SR as one event. TPC still needs to update their end before we can upload.

Pokeplayer: Thanks a ton for that! I woulda found it eventually, but this makes things a TON easier, thanks! Washington is now confirmed, and I'll update the post above to reflect that.

Also, huge thanks to Scorpidad for that link! Helped me work through a couple of website issues I was having.

Was there a "States" in Montreal this year?

These are the correct numbers in Florida.

‎240 Players. 35 Juniors, 49 seniors, 156 masters

As HJ, I can comfirm.

Ryan, from a PTO perspective, I appreciate you showing the discrepancy in the reported numbers, and what we think should have been, as it will allow us to catch and correct POP ID issues and make sure everyone gets their proper points and credit!

Vince, one of the reasons I started doing this a few years ago was because I was getting sick and tired of seeing unconfirmed and sometimes flat-out wrong information being reported for attendance numbers. The reason that I like having multiple sources for my information is to ensure that the information is as correct as possible. I know that the numbers reported to TPCi can sometimes be wrong because the information presented to them is incorrect in their system and needs to be changed. I also know that player reported information can also be wrong because players do show up after registration has closed, and that skews the numbers upward a bit.

I do kinda wish that there was a better (read: more automated) method of error checking going into these reports. That way, it would be relatively easy to automate the numbers collection and present the information in a much more glamorous way than what I've got up there. As long as human error is inherent in the reporting system, this analysis will continue to rely upon a numbers agreement from both a reliable source at the venue and the reported attendance figures on the TPCi website.

I will update later tonight at my League. Those Florida numbers will change a LOT of things in the background.
