Oh Shuppet donk, oh Shuppet donk
You have been good to me
We came home with a cites medal, and we only visited three!

Oh Shuppet donk, oh Shuppet donk
You have been fine to me
Alas when facing VileGar, you are all but forced to flee.

Oh Shuppet donk, oh Shuppet donk
You have been great to me
When you beat Luxchomp and Gyarados, I cant help squeeling with glee

Oh Shuppet donk, oh Shuppet donk
You've been good throughout your duration
And now my dearest Shuppet donk, lets hope for no mid-season rotation!

Oh Shuppet nay-sayers, oh Shuppet nay-sayers
Oh why oh why oh why
Do you fail to realize, Shuppet makes many top decks cry?

Oh Shuppet Donk, oh Shuppet Donk
I'm shocked that you aren't dead
If you REALLY have to win that way, play Uxie Donk instead.

A Hurl into Darkness, a Spiritomb indeed
A Deafen or Psychic Bind, will make your Shuppet bleed
I know that you are intent to win on the first turn
But they will surely lock you, oh when will Shuppet learn

I dont want this to turn in to a "Bash Shuppet" thread, I just wanted to write a poem that might amuse some people like PokePop's (was it his?...) Claydol poem.

Dude, simple tip, try to stay your own style.

Oh Uxie donk, Uxie donk, how does it work?
You play it, you win some, folks call you a jerk.
You draw your entire deck in one play,
but one Spiritomb and you call it a day.
So solitaire's easy, but what about this deck?
You top cut to hear others cry, "What the heck!"
Two basics, three basics, even with four
you somehow still donk them, according to lore.
With Setup and Flash Bite and that one energy,
you might have found fans, but it won't ever be me
who chooses to go with that strange sentiment
that card games get boring with each minute spent.
And so I will stick with a much longer game,
I'll throw down a bench, so will you do the same?
I dream of a Stage 2 once more seeing play
that doesn't have to lock up the Trainers all day.
Perhaps things will slow down, and with me that's fine,
otherwise I'll find a better use for my time.

Erik Nance wins the thread.
