Ugh. Come on, guys.
I am Phoebe of the Hoenn Elite Four. My role allows me to PM Lucario EX the name of one person during the night and have my Ghost type Pokemon scare them. My role says I don’t know what effect this will have, though. As far as I can tell, it’s pretty much useless. I’m fairly certain that I am the one responsible for the light that PokeChampofPokeBeach saw and Diaz not getting any sleep last night. I don’t know why G landers is saying I’m a wolf. I have a theory, but it’s just that – a theory.
Let’s just assume for a moment that there are 3 town-aligned players with Seer abilities: Lil_Magma, Diaz, and G landers. We have to figure out why, if they’re all telling the truth, Lil_Magma and G landers have conflicting evidence on Diaz. Here’s my theory:

I got a pm last night telling me that I thought I was being followed.
I think that having three seers is possible because of the limited abilities of each one. LilMagma only saw alignment. I only see character name and dont even get to choose who I look at. These all seem like checks put in place to balance out having multiple seers.
If you consider only lynching Kayle or myself: If you lynch me, and I am not a wolf, you likely lynch kayle next day. Trading one for one. Not bad. If you lynch Kayle and he is a wolf, we get one for zero. Better. If you lynch Kayle and he isnt a wolf you get me and G Landers who has been backing up my claim. 2 for 1. You have two players independently confirming someone's wolfishness.

Only difference there: Kayle doesn't have the crazy amount of evidence against him that you do. Just two people we know nothing about are accusing him. That in no way trumps a confirmed seer voting for you, in addition to everything else. With the finger pointed at him, yes, Kayle has some explaining to do, but right now it doesn't make much sense to vote for someone who two people have claimed knowledge of without any support for why they're right.
Here's something I would like to know: has anyone noticed anything, or have any good theories to support Diaz and/or G landers' claims about their role, or their accusations of Kayle?

Before I launch into my actual defense I want to agree with A_K, in a way, even though it puts me in a tighter spot than I need to be - it's a good way for the town to think, and since we seem to have a lot of newer players I wonder if it's not a bad idea to state the concept of Occam's Razor. I don't know anything exact/specific but the idea is it's a philosophy that states that the more complicated something is, the less likely it is.
The most plain thing to see here is that a town-aligned Seer declared Diaz to be a wolf. It's the simplest piece of evidence we've got, and that makes it more probable. That doesn't mean it's CERTAIN - I don't know if I believe it either, for a few reasons I will highlight later - but it's more likely.
I also again want to state that for some reason he revealed with a role that he did not know much about. Missing something that can be easily seen by scanning a Wiki page (not only that, but is also the very first paragraph of the Pokemon Adventures section -_-) is prettttyyy sketchy.
However, there are some other possibilities, albeit more complex ones. For example, and this one scares me but it's starting to seem a little more plausible - I think there's someone out there who can change the results of a seer role. If Diaz is lynched today and we find out he's not a wolf, we should put some serious thought into this possibility, though it means we can't trust any seers.
Enough about that; I don't want to just push all my accusations aside with "But maybe it was - !" All I can respond to is Diaz saying that I am Archer, and I will respond to that by again saying that I'm not Archer. I am Steven Stone. My role allows me to PM Lucario EX on even-numbered nights and prevent a player from voting the next day. Night 2 I targeted Elite_4_Allen, who was playing very recklessly and struck me as very wolfy - and also because I wasn't sure who else to target; he called out to me. Well, apparently he called out to someone else, too, because he died before my role could have any effect. =\
The only reservation I hold against outright concluding that Diaz is a wolf, is his 'list' of two players, Pikamaster and Pokemon99. Pikamaster immediately jumped to agreeing with him as soon as he gave away his character's name - could be a wolfy alliance or could be that he legitimately got it right. But if it's a wolfy alliance then why did P99 die last night? A sacrifice? Or is it possible that Diaz is not only a wolf, but also has a seer's role?
But that's the only worry I see right now, and it has a number of possible explanations.

I never checked the bulbapedia thing on Lt. Surge, cause I had no reason to. I knew I was town aligned from my role. If I were a wolf, don't you think I would check that before I claimed it? Even day one I was referring to myself being Lt. Surge. Do you think I would have done this if I knew Lt. Surge was related to Rocket in the manga? Wouldn't I try to distance myself from that? Do you think a wolf would draw as much attention to themselves as I have?
I'm almost positive that someone is messing with the seers' abilities. Lil_Magma likely targeted me and got a wrong answer. It would seem that my read on Kayle might be wrong.
I do have P99 and Glanders confirming my story though. Do you think that we're all wolves? There aren't even that many wolves left. Do you think that we would all associate ourselves with eachother if we were? There's no reason for us to lie if we're townies, and no reason for us to all bandwagon on one lie if we're wolves. I generally disapprove of April Fools Day jokes. I do not have a problem with people posting them, but I dislike being implicated in them without permission. The game is not being canceled, paused, or anything like that.
If anyone is silly enough to send me a fake target for their night action, that's their target. I'm not going to sanity check your gameplay. If anyone has already done this, it's up to you to correct it ASAP. Anyone who complains next phase that they were only joking is out of luck.
That said, the phase will end at midnight. Anyone who hasn't already done so should send me their night actions. Don't get any bright ideas from this post.

Baby mario hid in the shadows, watching the sleeping form of his target, carefully taking note of anyone else who approached. A few others had already been there, but had done nothing of import.
Something whooshed past the window, and baby mario stiffened as fragments of glass flew across the room only a moment later. One man jumped off the back of a Pokemon waiting outside - it looked too large to enter the room. Almost at the same time, the door opened quietly, and two figures crept in; one only a boy, the other a large humanoid Pokemon.
"There he is. Ice Beam!"
"Now, Hyper Beam!"
The two Trainers called out their commands simultaneously, then noticed each other's presence. They both glared at each other for a moment, then the older one climbed back onto his Pokemon, flying away before the other could object. Annoyed, the youth left as well, after recalling his Pokemon.
Baby mario crept forward, startled by the power of both Pokemon's attacks. Just then, he heard a slight movement behind the not-quite-closed door, and turned. A gunshot rang out, and baby mario fell to the floor.

The following day, both Diaz and baby mario were found dead. They were:
The remaining Trainers were alarmed by Diaz's true allegiance, reluctant to consider the possibility of more dangers when their numbers were already severely depleted.
Also, smacktack15 had not been seen for some time. His replacement, Everyone Esplode Noaw, was expected to arrive later in the day.

How he figured out my role I don't know, but I am definitely Steven, and he is definitely not Steven. Given all the seering going on I wouldn't be too surprised if he had a malevolent seer role and chose me after my activity spree in the first day, I'm a talkative player. Who knows? Just because he's dead doesn't mean he doesn't have incentive to lie, and in a seer-wolf's position, this is a perfect opportunity to wreak havoc: "reveal" to a single player after you die, then tell them an assortment of destructive and false things that SOUND plausible.
Add to it that you aren't supposed to say anything about the role "unless you have to". Because he made you keep it secret, no one would ever speak up to say that the role was taken. You'd act on his false implications for the rest of the game, and he suffers no consequences. Note that out of all of the players on Wayne's list of suspects, all of them have been town-productive except for a couple of inactives (baby mario was obviously a townie!). Even if we find a wolf on that list, say Jason (I have been suspecting of him for a while now), he could have easily just added a wolf or two into his suspects so that if they were found and caught it would make his intent seem all the more honest.
Though, I'm a little skeptical of that whole exchange in the first place. Why didn't you say something yesterday when I first revealed?
