Pokémon TCG: Sword and Shield—Brilliant Stars

Play! The Rotation Cup Alex(charm)ander is now in charge. Good luck!

Just to throw this out there. I'm pretty sure the OP/organizer is a high schooler on the west coast so s/he may still be in school at the moment. Patience is a virtue.

oh and how could i test the system before playing?

and are victory medals alright to use?
Yes victory medals are legal

First got to www.bebessearch.com and make an account / log in. Create your deck list and save.

next go to www.playtcg.me Log in using your bebessearch account set up a game. Find someone you want to play, send them the link. Once they click it your window will take you to the game.

If you want to test it out yourself, open a new window or tab, and use the link to play against yourself.

There is also an instructional video on playtcg.me.....once you find the menu button on the screen everything else is self explanitory.

Also Blitzer I can understand you having exams and being busy with that, however as others have stated exams range anywhere from april to end of june depending on your grade and location.

Since you're busy I'll more then happily start the tournament off for you

I cant, im going to have to trust the person and the top 8 decks will be released and if anyone changed an opponent would point it out.

YES!

Great Question, this tournament is for testing alone. Except think of it like tweaking a single deck till you can win with it :D

Ok, so we can change our lists if we have a similar gist through the whole tourney? For instance, if I played Emboar/Magnezone, but dropped the Magnezone line before the Round 2 matchup, would that be legal?

Basically, to what extent can we change the contents of our decks? Would it be smart for everyone to state an "archtype" and then be held to that, but still be able to make minor tech changes between matches?

Or 45-50 card skeletons? Just ideas..

By changes, I mean needed changes. Such as:

You run a 3-2-3 Emboar in Magnezone/Emboar (example) and a 3-3-3 Magnzeone. You realize you dont need a 3-2-3 Emboar so you decide to drop it down to a 1-1-1 or 2-1-2.

Changes like that and all single card changes are allowed. I'll get those rules up ASAP.

Still vague, but I understand what you're saying. I guess what I'm asking is, "Is it ok to talk with a person who has previously played your future opponent's deck so you can tech against said deck?"
