Do people really think that Magnezone/Feraligatr is better than Magnezone/Emboar? What reality do you live in?

Sure feels good to have access to RDL, Reshiram, and attacking Emboar.

Oh but wait I could just run energy switch and ESL!

smh

I have to ask, though, how are you fitting RDL + Reshiram + attacking Emboar into MagneBoar? In the build I'm testing I have my hands full with a 4-2-4 Zone line, 2-2-2 Boar line, 1-1 RDL, and 4 Cleffa. Do you make the Zone line thinner and cut the Cleffas?

Thinner Zone line.

Cutting out a 1-1-1 line of Zone from your 4-2-4 allows you to add in 2 Reshiram and an attack Emboar.

You do not. Reshiram and BadBoar are not needed, RDL and Magnezone will do the job just fine. Tech 1-0-1 ability Samurott if you are struggling against Donphan/ReshiBoar.

They're nice to have as alternate attackers. Energy runs dry when you're overusing Magnezone's attacks.

Nobody ever said it was better, but I think it is close to the same deck. There are plenty of water attackers you could use legends too. And how hard is it to use 2-3 energy switch?

While I agree both MagneBoar and MagneGatr are good decks, I think MagneGatr will always lose to MagneBoar if they were to face each other in a tournament etc. That alone is reason enough for me to toss the idea of playing MagneGatr.

I don't know about that, just because of the fact that MagneGatr hits for weakness against everything but magnezone and rdl. You also have you own magnezone to attack there rdl and magnezone. But what does smh mean? Someone said it in a previous post.

Shake my head. . .

I've play-tested the two decks quite a bit, and I've found it's very difficult for MagneGatr to be the victor.

Well because magnegatr can't run RDL..

Why do you need to hit for weakness when you can OHKO everything in your path??
