You can log problems within the program itself?!? Where is this???
 
They can't even deliver a decent installer. Have you ever seen an installer wanted to install a program in C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Roaming\Property.ProductName\ ??? Come on...

The program starts but doesn't do anything (besides claiming +500 Mb right away). Not a very hopeful start of the new version.

I down loaded the client and i can not belive it my oppoents turn lasts for two seconds. And the tranner challenge isnt very well done. Its not well detailed i guess you could say. And my deck is like real bad in the game. When is the multi player going to be online!!
 
As for anyone wondering about why the program doesnt do anything when you start up- it takes it about a minute or two to connect to the servers- so you will get a black screen- then the next destinies background followed by the log in. And then it takes a moment to load after that.

I have to say that they definitely need to slow down the opponents turn or at least have a prompt on the side that is telling you what they did in their turn- and the not being able to see your pokemons energy when playing a card (without cancelling) is annoying as well... but this build seems alot more promising than the last and I cant wait to see the final product with multiplayer and everything!
 
I'm totally blown away by how horrible this is. THIS is what they've been working on so far? An uglier, less intuitive version of what we already had. I would rather live with the dumb card glitches in the previous version than have this disgusting beta (which looks closer to a prototype or a pre-alpha build).
 
Yeah this version needs some more polish really, slow card plays down, show energy under stuff better. Maybe some background music, attack animations. When it forces you to play in full screen have better resolution assets, no one likes blurring stuff. Also i think the AI is stupider, retreating a guy to another and not putting energy to attack, makes a pointless move, was it originally like that?
 
My biggest thing right now is reducing the amount of resources the game takes up. PTCGO is IMO far less complex than even the original Starcraft, but Starcraft takes up far fewer system resources, even when playing online. Can somebody else show the system resource usage of other major games out currently? I'd like to see if I'm barking up the wrong tree here...
 
Gotten one BSoD so far. Pokémon Support suggested that I update my video card, which would lead to buying a new laptop in my situation. Looks like I'm out of luck in this situation.
 
The attack notifications are in big black #00000 Arial font (or something)...I really don't think anyone needs to be worried that this is what the final version will look like.

Probably because the initial version was a complete and utter failure. I do hope this version will be better, but I won't get my hopes up.
 
Well i decided to give the online tcg ago as i had a few of the codes from packs. First booster i got a reshiram EX, second booster pack i got mewtwo EX! Is there higher chances of pulling rares online or was i just very fortunate?
Also can i use these in a deck and play or can we only use the ones in the trainer challenge while its being updated?

Basically, because we've been in "beta" for so long (over a year). We want a completed program after such a long beta period. Personally, the only time a program that I've seen had such a long public beta period was Minecraft, and there were no expectations going into that thing. Basically, they've overpromised and underdelivered for this, and nothing makes customers angrier than that.

Funny how it's a complete and utter failure, yet everyone would rather have it back right now rather then wait for something better.
