New league promos? Catcher?

There was a new PTCGO update and I was looking at catchers and I saw this.

Then I clicked it.

Then looked up the rest of the league promos.

Looks like league players will be getting 8 promos (Unless I'm missing some.):
x1 Full Heal BW
x1 Pokemon Catcher EP
x1 N NV
x1 Super Rod NV
x1 Rocky Helmet NV
x1 Heavy Ball ND
x1 Aspertia City Gym BC
x1 Skyla BC

I guess they are trying to hint us that this is what we'll be getting for the 2012-2013 season? I'm assuming the code card you get from the league will unlock these online also.
 
um I believe this is incorrect according to the League card it says there are only 7 promotional cards you get with the TCG online code. I find this is weird how it shows 8, I was told 7even though there are 8 seasons
 
They might just be online cards. If the league code card just unlocks Lillipup there are going to be a lot of complaints so online codes for staples via league seems like something OP would want to do.

If they are physical cards too then I'd expect them to be player rewards.. So get signed up and registered as Catcher would be a very nice tier three reward.

On another note. PTCGO does show Victory Cup when you look through cards you want and thats a physical card so if they have stamped catchers, then they must be real. Hears to hoping anyway.

The 7 cards are the 4 fire energy, 2 Lilipups, and 1 Aspertia City Gym that the promo online card unlocks. This is just for the first season, with those others it seems for the rest.

Also saw the Pokemon promos while looking through the PTCGO. Again, not sure if these are online only either. Just found it an interesting choice.

Re-ordered to reflect the in game gym progression. Should be the order of the promos. and yay, flygon!
 
Looks definitely league-only to correspond with the league code cards, but I would love to see these be player rewards in addition.
 
If these are going to be in league promo redemptions, then it still won't help IRL where you'd actually pay for a catcher unfortunately.
 
Was told today by our league leade there are no more league promo cads. Just the badge and online code card.
 
I think this is a really bad idea. I dont even play PTCGO. I need real life catchers, not fake catchers for a very broken game...
 
At the league I run no one really wants the online codes... Just hoping this doesn't mess too much with attendance.

I remember when Uxie and Claydol were league promos. Attendance was incredibly awesome.
 
I think they need to abandon code cards for league as a substitute for actual product. Not all kids have access to PTCGO or enough play time on the program for it to really matter.

They need to bring back the league promos. League catcher promos will make players go to league to get them. Code cards should stick to booster packs and other product. its like winning a tournament and the TO giving you a PTCGO card for your Victory Cup card and Trophy. It will make players mad.
