Is everyone ready for another exciting season of Pokemon events starting off with cities??? I can't wait and look forward to seeing at the upcoming cities. See below for details and feel free to contact me with any questions.

Format
Modified (Ex Deoxys through Ex Dragon Frontiers including Nintendo black star promo cards 029 and above, Ex Trainer Kit 2, and POP Series 2, 3, & 4). If card has been reprinted in one of the sets mentioned above the older version can be used (i.e. Warp Point, TV Reporter, etc).

Rounds
Based on attendance. After swiss rounds are completed, cut to single elimination per age group with 1 hour match, best 2 of 3 (top ?? will be based on attendance per age group).

Prizes (Junior, Senior, & Master Divisions)
1st - 18 booster packs, City Championship Medal, Bag of Goodies
2nd - 10 booster packs
3rd - 4 booster packs
4th - 4 booster packs
5th and after - 1 booster pack

Every player will receive Promo Card and Pin while supplies last!!!

Door Prizes
Lugia Deck Case (1 per age group)
Pokemon Plush (1 per age group)

If attendance is 30 or more then the grand prize will be 12 packs of Dragon Frontiers.

YAY! Did they bring back medals for CC's or were they always given out?
 
Medals were used in 2004, I think they were not used in 2005. Back in '06. Asheville here we come in ear;y '07! YOU DA MAN GATR!!! :clap:

Medals were used in all seasons. Anyone, can you hitch me a ride so I can go? I'm that desperate! :lol:

Medals in 2004-2005 season were engraved with the city location and were chrome color. Medals in the 2005-2006 season were not engraved but were in color. This years medals should be interesting to see...
 
Man, I wish we were going to this one! I LOVE Asheville! I used to go to a YMCA school for a week every year in Black Mountain!
 
God I wish I was going to at least one NC Cities. Oh well, maybe next time. Jeff, I hope the tournament runs well, and that Mike Wins again!:biggrin:

Just a few more days to go! Oh so many questions....What deck will Matt K play this week?? (Now that he is #1 in the world!) Will the Muk Man be there and what deck will he run now that he has let the "Stantler" out of the bag! What will Mike R be running? Alex ran a new deck last week.....what will he run this week?

Less than 48 hours left until the tournament! Will someone from Asheville go home with the title, or will it be someone out of state?
