Power Keepers Packs $3.97 A Pack At Wal-mart

I went to Wal-Mart to pick up a few packs and when I got to the register they rang up $3.97 a pack. I thought something was wrong but when they got one of the CSM's they told me the company raised the price. Is it true that the suggested retail price went up again or is Wal-Mart just over charging? What is everyone paying at there Wal-Marts, Targets, etc.?

I paid $3.99 a piece at my super wally world today( bought 6 packs). Flareon star, machamp holo
and a bunch of energies. Not
bad for $24.00 plus tax, but boxes are the play imho.

Ha, the booster backs are still $3 apiece at one of the local card shops in my town. And since I live in Oregon, no taxes. So I don't have to worry about Wal Mart and their "unique prices."

I bought 4 PK packs for $12 and pulled an Absol ex.

I went to walmart and a got a few packs. 2 delta species and 2 power keepers. The delta species rang up for $3.27 plus tax and the power keepers were $3.97 plus tax. The price on cards keeps going up.

be grateful you don't live in the UK - prices are a LOT more expensive than $3 - $4...
i think we pay £2.50 (not sure since i haven;t bought a sibgle booster for ages) - that's roughly $5...

Wal-Mart around here had them for $3.47 =/
Target was $3.49
Meijer was $3.27
Card Shop is $3.09

The card shop is like 20 miles away though

May be a tactical thing then. (If MTG is doing it, why not Pokémon?) Even if the MSRP hasn't changed, it makes no difference to the people paying for the cards...

Normally, they are £2.50, but I went into WHSmiths last Friday, and they were selling Power Keepers for £2.99, roughly $6.

I haven't been at Target for a long time so I can't really compare prices, but the Walmarts in Salem, OR are a complete rip-off when it comes to Pokemon. I avoid buying booster packs there.

Lol my card shop is selling Ruby Sapphire for 3.99

LOL, Wildthings, which is the card shop I mentioned earlier, has ALL of the pokemon sets, escept for Aquapolis and Skyridge, for $3 a pack. I live in the best city to buy pokemon cards.

 I thought only my local (greeting) card shop did that! That probably means it'll get more expensive everywhere else too :frown:

wow, i though boosters at USA would be less expensive than other countries.... i guess im wrong..

Here in Malaysia, most of them sell them for like $ 3.50 while some sell them for $ 2. 70 ( hard to find!!But luckily, it's just 10 min trip from my house!)
