Maryland State Championship - Rockville, MD - 3/11/07

Elissa is in top 2 and Tatiana came in 10th, right behind Melony Anderson (they were top 2 in VA yesterday). Tad just won junior division (undefeated).

By the way, states are over! With the large turnout, it has really been a lot of work for anyone who played in all four. See you all at the Regionals. :clap:

1st: Crazy Tall 14 year old (Mercury)
2nd: Elissa (Metanite)
3rd/4th: Curran (Delta)/An Aardvark (Banette/Houndoom)

idk 5-8.

I should seriously just stop playing this game. ;_;
 
If anyone is interested, top 4 in Juniors were:
1st Tad Miller with Raieggs
2nd Keith Boone with an odd deck that had some Shiftry, I think Shiftry ex CG, and Arbok d.
3rd ??? with Raieggs
4th Shawn with Metagross ex PK, Jolteon ex, and Dustox ex.

I helped Shawn fix his deck, at first it was a complete mess, and he made it to the top 4!:clap:

i was. i got paired down twice and lost the second time and got 9th seed. x.x thats why i was home. david picked me up when the torny was still going on

HUGE thanks to Laurel C, Kevin W, and Tara M for running this event!!! It was a blast and as I expected they broke the 100+ in attendance. It was great seeing all the VA and MD players (especially the Aardvark players).

Being the proud father I have to give props to my daughter for making top 8, 4 states in a row (SC, NC, VA, and MD) and the only girl in all four of those states. There is definitely something about Girl Power...

Since I do not have access to the PTO account, I was unable to upload the results. I e-mailed both the PTO and the computer person with the TRN file attached and they should get to it by tomorrow. Thanks. Apologies to all for the delay and our misunderstanding.
