It appears that Pokemon does not have the same event coverage as other TCG games. For example, Yu-Gi-Oh! has the coverage for all its major events covered live. Even without the video, it provided detailed articles that cover the whole action for each major event. With round by round reports that details what cards are played by each player; what cards are on the filed; sometime, with comments on what misplay the player have done; or what move a player should make. Even for players who can not make it to the event, reading the reports are just like you are watching the play sitting next to the players. And a player can learn a lot of about how the top players are playing. Those reports were done by someone who really knows the game, like a judge or some top players. So, the coverage match what the normal player would obtain from watching the game. Comparing to Pokemon report, almost all of them are pretty vague. What I mean by that is you might get an idea on what deck the opponents are playing, but you could not learn any thing else from those reports. Many of the round reports were just recorded as - “I got fast setup and the opponent did not, so I won”. There is nothing you can learn from reading those reports.

So, I was just wondering if the same effort should be take to help the Pokemon events with the same coverage and make the game healthier? And who can / should be doing it?
