Attention:
Some members are linking to inappropriate video files in their sigs.
Remove them immediately or sig files will be wiped clean and bans issued,

We don't want to waste our time playing games, so if you make us chase after you, the time out will be extensive.

Please delete the links immediately.

What is "fun" on a private board is not appropriate here.

Just go and make a sticky saying LAFONTE I'm calling you out.

Lafonte likes its fun with Pokegym and will continue its fun until the Supreme Leader decides it is enough. You can't really do anything or else Pokegym will be a private board just like a Lafonte.

This is not about calling out lafonte or anyone else.
This is about enforcing board rules about respect for other members, which that video does not do.

Poliwag92: If anyone is calling people out, it's been you over your last few posts.
Sorry, not interested in playing games.
If games get disruptive, then action will be taken.

If everyone typed in Allcaps then it would be awful but I actually think that the joke's on loud mouth 'cause there are people who'll ignore his posts simply because of the font size.

Back to back posts merged. The following information has been added:

An 18 only board/thread doesn't guarantee all members who call themselves 18 ARE. Thinking realistic I would imagine there are very few users who would not let curiosity get the better of them and create a second/puppet account to see what's going on.

Would a children's only board (under 12, under 18 or other) work? That might allow players of that age group a more casual introduction to the gym and an opportunity to express deck ideas, questions etc. that they know aren't going to be heavily scrutinized by adults.

Just a thought.

I like that idea Alex- but surely its a slight fix to the stupid long term problem of certain individuals being overly/completely dismissive of other's ideas- regardless of age. (MHO)

Back to main point- yeh ppl, stop the stupid links.

p.s. Im not bothered by the caps, but please realise- its just not funny. nobody is laughing with you! :thumb:
 
So does this mean that any videos in our sigs have to be removed? Or just ones with bad content?

'Cause I have two home-made videos in my sig,(neither of which are above a PG-rating) and I want to know if I have to delete them...

Just bad content is banned

Typing is all "BOLD CAPS" = shouting (email etiquette)

I have an idea who people are referring to as the Supreme Leader. If that is your belief, you are definitely demonstrating your lack of common sense and lack of honor.

Pop - Thanks for keeping an eye on Polliwog. His posts have been marginal at best.

No, there should not be a place for 18+. Go somewhere else or make your own. The folks on the Gym do this gratis and you want to pile more work on them?

Considering the 'wag/Immy is 14 or so (SR division), you would think he would show a bit more respect for his elders. I doubt he treats his parents with that little respect. I understand teenagers will rebel some/alot.....you still are a guest here. As for links to videos that are above PG....give them a ban now.....they should know better by now, especially the Lafonte crowd (if that is who the perps are).
