So yeah, straight on to the the decklist:
Pokemon- 23
3- Chikorita d
1- Bayleef d
3- Meganium d
3- Totodile d
1- Croconaw MT
3- Feraligatr d
2- Trapinch d (Big Bite)
1- Vibrava d (Sonic Noise)
2- Flygon d
1- Flygon ex d
3- Holon's Castform
// I took out the Mews, as i didn't need them when i playtested yesterday.
I took out a Croconaw for the Flygon ex. Bayleef got cut just for making space. I want to have two, but i don't see the sppace.
I know that 3 stage S2 is hard to setup, and it does ssem n00by, BUT it does setup very good, mostly because of Meg's power.
Flygon ex, and less S1 has not been playtested yet.
Trainers- 25
4- Mentor
3- Celio's
1- Scott
2- Copycat
2- Adventurer
1- Castaway
1- Buffer Piece
1- Str. Charm
2- Night Maintenance
2- Lake Boundary
2- Windstorm
4- Rare Candy
// I switched a Charm for a Buffer Piece, bacause needed it very often. I'm considering Crystal Shard, as this almost autolosses to R-Gon/Flygon d if i don't play it.
The switch had to go to make space (although it was very nice, but not necessary), same with castaway. 3 Windstorm would be nice, but there isn't space for that. Also, i'm actually thinking of taking all the Windstorms out, but I'll wait to see if there comes less CC decks out, than i'm assuming. But there comes a lot, then i have to make space for 3-4, so there's a lot to consider.
I was around 3 cards short of decking out almost all the games, so 2 Night Maintenance is necessary. I need energies at that point, so yeah, no discussion.. xP
Energies- 12
4- d' Rainbow
4- Fighting
4- Lightning
// I played 13 energies yesterday, and had no energy droughts, so I guess cutting a energy wont be too bad.
Strategy-
// Remember, these are not playtested matchups...
This is build for the decks that might be big next year. (and i wanted to make a meg.dec)
Empoleon: Meg is resistant, and its attack reduces dmg by 30, so Empoleon can max do 40-10 dmg. It is weakness to Gatr, and combined with Lake Boundary, it OHKOs it.
Electivire: They're weak to Meg, combined with Lake Boundary, it's pretty much GG. Plus, if you use it's 1st attack, they can't even OHKO you..
Kriketune: This is the tough one. Meg is once again the key card here. It's 1st attack recuces dmg by 30 (as i said before), which means they'll 2HKO you at least.
Gatr is also good here. Drag off Kricketots, and kill them one by one, it's easy to do, seeing that 'Tot has 2 in retreat cost.
Infernape: Drag off all their Cats, or just 2HKO all their apes. They can't OHKO you (seeing you use Gatr in this matchup), so yeah.. If they choose to use Cat ex, then it's a free price for Meg.
Feraligatr MT: Gatr d' and Lake Boundary, GG.
+ Anything I forgot. As you can see, the deck covers itself very nicely.
Oh, and you setup all this by abusing Meg's Poké-Power.
Any suggestion? They will be appreciated!
