With approximately 72 Battle Roads posted already on the OP site, as of this moment, and the number is growing everyday, I want to ask the people, one question.

How far would you drive for a Autumn Battle Road?

...given the following assumptions.

the K value is 8.
the prize support is 8 packs/1st place and 4 packs/2nd place.
and assume everything else stays the same.

but gas prices will be cheaper compared to where they were at during Spring BRs.

So is it worth road tripping 3 hours for them. or up to 6 hours for them.

-------
in my situation, the nearest BR's are 5-6 hours away. And i'm half tempted to go road tripping.

If it is more than 3 hours, odds are I'm not going, no matter what the tournament is(with exception to Nats and Worlds). They just seem too far out of the way, and doesn't seem worth the drive/gas money.

I say more than 2 hours should be a decent size tourney. i'm traveling roughly 1 hour for the ones i'm judging.

3 hours. Rockford is a BEAST, and I wouldn't miss those tourneys as long as I'm in the Western GL area.

Well I know for Spring Battle Roads 2008 I will travel 4 hours (200+ miles) for one. (A-Kon probably)
As for regally up to 2-3 hr drive either to San Antonio or North/South Houston.

I will travel 5 mins to the local one then join a friend and go where ever he goes. (thank you dark ninja)
