LM cards in MT packs?

Dunno if Im missing something here, but I just bought 2 MT packs from wallmart, and for some reson got a LM wailmer in each pack and a LM voltorb in one. Niether pack had a reverse-holo, and the voltorb pack didn't have a rare .

Sooooo, what just happened? Is this somehow normal? Are they counterfiet? Did the packs get broken into, with the good cards replaced?
The last idea would normally seem most likely, but each pack was packaged individualy with plastic and cardboard, and while I didn't thoroughly examine the packaging before hand, they show no evidence of tampering.

any insight would be most apreciated

This one kid that plays brought 3 packs of crystal guirdans(sp?) and he got lots of Lm cards and some PK cards too!

I believe there was a problem like this a few sets ago involving cards taken out of packs and then having the packs resealed. It seems the problem still hasn't been solved.

You might want to contact POP and tell them your problem directly... with a bit of luck, they'll give you replacement boosters. There might be contact info on the booster wrapping.

But yes, I can't believe this problem is still happening... do you live around Houston? IIRC, that was the area this happened before.

:nonono: I don't know whether that increases the likelihood of workers tampering with products or not, but it can't be good... try to contact POP and see what they say
