Glitches in PBR

Has anyone here noticed any odd graphical errors in Pokemon: Battle Revolution?

1. A Gorebyss healed using a Sitrus Berry. As it did, I could see the "square" that the circle was drawn in. (If you know what PNGs are, its was basically the square boundary of the circle; the corners reflected the light as well.)

2. My shiny Magnezone's magnets keep changing between its shiny color and the normal color in idle animations, and sometimes during attacks.
It's quite annoying. :frown:

Makes me question just why they went back to Genius Sonority after Colosseum and XD showed that Genius Sonority really can't hack it.

Agreed.

Also notice how the announcer tends to mispronounce names. I mean, seriously...also, the announcer from the Stadium series was far superior.

Well, the announcer also lets you know when an attack will kill something before ti kills it. Some of the things I notice: Ice Beam hits, Beaten down by Close Combat, Zap by Thunder Bolt, Thunder Detonates with a boom. There are others, just try to find them.

I removed all the unnecessary bits.

*claps* Bravo Marril, well done. Anyway, this can all be attributed to the fact that Genius Sonority couldn't program a virtual amoeba properly, much less 493 different creatures, a few hundred possible combinations of trainers, cheering fans, and a disembodied voice.

HEY.

As a biology student, I say that an individual amoeba is pretty damn complicated to code for.

And each of those little simplified organelles are pretty complicated in their own right, when you delve into them.

Also notice how the announcer tends to mispronounce names.

"Poe nii tah, starts to attack!"

I like this announcer better than the dude from the stadiums. The old guy repeats even more.

I like how the announcer in PBR says:

"Hurwld by Seismic Tawss!"

ITs AWESOME!!!

Be that as it may, an amoeba is still one of the most animals on the planet. Especially when you compare it to things such as, oh, I don't know, the horse-like god of the pokemon world.

Horse gods aren't all that complicated. It's only made of two things: religious propaganda, and universe-starting material. That's what makes Arceus so strong.

You don't eem to be getting what I'm saying. It's not a matter of composition. It's a matter of how they look. And amoeba is a simple blob. A horse god is a big complicated horse with all sorts of curves and shadows, limbs and a face, details and the like. It's like the difference between me molding an amoeba out of clay and then making an Arceus.

And you aren't getting what I'm saying; I was making a joke there, about what simple things Arceus was made of...

Back on topic, all. Any more glitches? The narration thing seems to be more of a flagging than a glitch.

immolated by blast burn!

Yes. That's a glitch, that's a conscious decision for the narration... can we get beyond that to other glitches?

something was wrong with my battle revolution game when i first played it
every time my opponent would be knocked out, they have 1 (or at least a very small amount) hp remaining
i reset it, and this problem stopped
wierd...

They are made up. Fissure's saying is, "Fissure opens up an abyss of destruction!" I heard it enough times being attacked in the 100-win Courtyard challenge before I beat it on the third try. ._.

Still, this isn't the place to discuss them.
