Are there any in the general area? I think there is a league locator somewhere, but I can't for the life of me remember. Also is there any specific person I should talk to about FL Pokemon events and FL pokemon in general?

Currently there is league at the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library which meets every other Saturday from 1-3pm. The details can be found on the League Locator page (http://op.pokemon-tcg.com/league/details/?id=2029).

We are looking at adding an additional league in the area soon. There's been a recent influx of pokemon players migrating up to FSU so we're trying to keep them active.

As for contacts in Florida, send a PM to Heidi Craig (gym name "Heidi Craig") or myself and we can answer any questions that you have.
 
I tried to get a Battle Road there but the venues are very limited. I should be able to get a city with some luck. However I am adding a BR in Jacksonville again.

No, unfortunately not.

Perhaps one of the venues that Heidi contacted would be willing to host a league. Take advantage of the ground work that she has already put in up there.

The league leader in that area would enjoy new league members you should attend his league if it close to you. I know the guy who run the league and he is very nice.
