The Aliens have landed... or have they?

I heard that it's possibly the dust that was kicked up that is causing people to get sick.

yeah. it's either the dust or a psychosomatic reaction, the experts are saying.

cause when meteorites crash. it could look a lot like armageddon. and that stress from that incident could cause headaches, nausea, and respiratory problems.

or the sickness and the meteorite crash could have no connection.

That is so awsome! yay yay yay :D

I want to buy some of the luminous substance because it is valuable. I'll get it while it is cheap, and nobody wants it because it is harmful. Then I'll sell it and make a bunch of money.

You seriously need to revise the title of this thread. I barely clicked on it.

Change it to:

The Aliens have landed. People are getting rashes.

Then people would be more interested.

Not confirming any belief in the story; but samples collected from mars (with the mars rover) [in the past] have shown fossilized remails on what seems to be single celled organisms.

Done!

I'd love to check out the meteorite myself, mostly because it's a rock from outer space. I'm very intrigued by this find.

perhaps the meteor that crashed caused the soil to become "powder-like" and mix up with the air. The ppls nearby didnt know that, so they inhaled lots of the small particles and finally get sick.

BTW, i think the chance of aliens exists is pretty high. But the chance of them finding us and knowing how to communicate w us is..... minute.

Any Time Travelers or Espers as well? I'd LOVE to meet them

OMG I can't believe you just said that .

Rashes huh? Maybe it isn't something alien so much as some type of irritant or toxic chemical (I dunno, what it is just a guess) that's part of the meteor. Viruses shouldn't cause these types of symptoms because if they were viruses, they'd have to be specific to a certain species. If it came from outer space, it should be nearly impossible to infect humans in the first place. That is unless the virus was made specifically to attack human cells. Uh-oh...

The Truth Is Out There.

The Truth Is Out There.

Heck yes it is. (We need to link Ross to this topic!)

Well, the universe is pretty huge, so somewhere out there there was probably a meteor that had been dipped in human-killing chemical X that so just happened to land here. Poor, poor Peru.

Judging by the symptoms the locals were having and by the fact that a "luminous substance" was found in the vicinity of the crash, I would have to say that this was not a meteorite at all, but an atomic-powered satellite. If that is indded what it was, then it should be handled by the proper authorities.

The US government will be on the scene before you can say "Threatening Blackmail" or "Brainwashing Interrogation"

I don't think their will be anymore news on this occurrence...

The US government? Pff, they're either highly incompetent, bumbling bureaucrats, or shady yet oddly ineffectual men in black.

Go to the Japanese government for this. I mean, they have NERV. They have Section 9. All the crazy powerful government agencies come out of Japan.
